Doesnt matter what they add, someone will be complaining either way. If it was some very «warcrafty» masculine armor stuff we’d have others crying for skirts and bikinis and pretty dresses. Just be happy u’re saving tenders until something you like actually comes along
WoW stood out because it didn’t give in to these kind of pressures.
Now it’s just marketing trash. Wait until the next Marvel film comes out and there’s a trading post sponsorship.
Talk about spoiling the immersion of being in a Fantasy game.
P.S. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to buy it all.
Oh yeah, at this point it feels like a Final Fantasy knock-off. Can these items be at least somewhat immersive? Lol let’s fight a super scary dragons and demons with a water gun. What is going on with this game xD
Also the reason I am against flamboyant and flashy armor isn’t because they are flashy and flamboyant…
But because down to earth armor and transmogs can be mixed and made into any transmogs you like… Witch is impossible too to do when they are all flaming and flashing as all hell
Wdym.
I’m definitely going to buy a few things from this one, I don’t buy stuff from the trading post particularly much.
Rather it gave in to a different less savoury pressure.
Colorful/Cartoony does not equal marvel. Warcraft and WoW has been cartoony since it’s inception.
Final fantasy got a more realistic aesthetic, even with the silly stuff.
These more casual outfits doesn’t remove the option to wear the more serious ones which you got 10+ years of.
What do I mean? Well when the trading post first arrived and our first months… They launched with cool armor and transmogs and what not… now?
Now they go with a monthly theme it seems. And they wont give us any cool stuff anymore as they did the first months of launching the trading post…
It’s all girly and and monthly themed…
Come winter months? We’ll get allot of christmas and snowmen made stuff.
Cool armors are from the other parts of the game, not the monthly “battle-pass”.
I don’t think so. I pretty much bought nothing the first year or so of it.
Thats your opinion… But the Trading post launched and drew us all in with this… And its incredibly bait and switch to just not do that anymore all of a sudden.
Now it all has a monthly theme and everything. And its all incredibly girly.
At least so far
Honestly, I was drawn in by items like the cloaks and cowls/scarves. The other low res stuff/comically large armor never interested me. Now I’m struggling with tendies despite saving thousands off of those ‘‘great’’ months ^^"
Why does this announcement regressed from the prior months?
Is it difficult to show all items at once and not drop a list of things?
It seems the transmog addon caught these, so I guess july/august could be the diver suit lso in the DB. Let’s hope, I start to be tired of the no texture outfits from the past months…
Yeah, those scarfs ended up being must buy. Especially since they are perfect on worgen.
I don’t mind that -that- was what drew you in Alysea… But come on… This is incredibly in the girls favor. For months now.
Give us dudes something cool to look forward too in the trading posts too?
I do love reading the misery from some every time the trading post has anything fun on it
Having an opinion that you disagree with = misery. Yep.
I’m a man, I like the things they’ve been implementing recently.
Good for you… And nothing wrong with that. But be fair…
Themes. You noticed it, you yourself said it. At first it was legion, then something else(i wasn’t subbed) then came the magical girls, then something else will come in, say, july or something. (:
A pressure that people enjoyed. Have to noticed how people are starting to complain about themes in WoW more than ever.
Marvel was an example off the top of my head.
But look at Overwatch for example. See how they have sponsored events. Like the One Punch Man event.
Well it’s coming to WoW. This months trading post proves it.
It’s not about Cartoony. I never suggested they can’t include Cartoony graphics. Cartoon graphics in the past fit the overall Warcraft aesthetic. This has literally nothing to do with Warcraft. It fits The Sims more than anything.
As I said, don’t get me wrong. I’m going to buy it all. but each time something like this comes out WoW gets a little less good. I lose the love I had for the game a little bit more. And one day I’ll just lose interest altogether.
