I decline high IO+ low IO ‘parties’ queueing together. It’s the definition of a carry, 9 out of 10 times leads to drama.
This is correct. But experienced people don’t require much help at all, and they aren’t the target audience of this thread (although, it should be noted that there isn’t target audience of this thread at all, as topic starter wasn’t honest). Experienced people will climb fast regardless, with or without you or me. It is inexperienced people who might require outside help with ever expanding and more and more complicated mythic plus system in WoW.
But this is the problem:
Boosting is a blight of WoW. Independent to whether you were paid for it or not. While yes, most of the time it would sure be easy for us to discern who’s gonna cost you a key, you, by providing carries, partly make this whole problem more prevalent – and community more toxic.
Instead of sharing positive knowledge across an environment where it could be absorbed and put to good use later, you are actively providing disservice not only to a single person who now might spoil other’s key (and possibly genuinely feel bad about it and abstain from keying if it isn’t paid), you also push WoW community into double-checking each candidate on multiple external resources and also asking for higher than needed qualifications on lower and lower key levels. Just because there are so many clueless people with inflated scores.
Just think about how this works in reality. You help one single person to achieve 2k score by carrying him through several high keys. So next, I invite this person to my +16 key because 2k should be more than enough for this key level. This person singlehandedly ruins it by multiple deaths. I then get upset and next time I will be asking for 2.2k for my new +15k – and also in all of my future keys as well. Just to be sure. And more people become gated from my +15. And then they begin complaining about ridiculous requirements I set. And then they begin asking for higher carries…
This is a Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime situation which you unfortunately circumvent. You can’t help inexperienced people in high keys where they couldn’t learn anything by being permanently dead on every second pull, they need to start low and then climb themselves. All you could and should do, is speed up this process by providing guidance and sharing your experience.

My opinion is that boosting is fine. It isn’t my job to dictate to people how they play the game. If they want to get boosted, and it’s done within the ToS, it’s none of my damn business.
Some people don’t want to complete content. They just want the achievement and any associated mount/pet/toy. I’m not going to say to someone whose only interest in raiding is getting the AOTC achievement and mount ‘sorry, you have to learn and master the mechanics of every boss on normal and HC to get it’.
This just means you’re part of the problem, Tyssera! This would be sure fine if boosted people were doing this for achievements alone, though. Sadly, too many of them are getting early boosts specifically to have an easier time joining groups while still unable to fulfill the hard requirements set by Blizzard desing team.

People who want KSM will get it eventually regardless of the meta, theres still a long time left before this season is over.

That is where you’re wrong about Tyserra - ive done keys with her in the distant past, and she was extremely helpful. Gave me more confidence to go higher than +2
How is it possible that someone getting 2550 can cause someone to have an ego so inflated that they think they can make threads and host a “lottery” for KSM.

No, I specifically meant boosting groups mentioned, not every and all groups Tyserra ever was a part of. And I’m glad that this happened to you, Alagondar! You are a good example.
Another hint why I think topic starter is a troll and a liar and doesn’t really understand what’s he talking about – his obsession with +15 as if they still mean something like they did in previous expansions.
What is the correlation between +15 and KSM now in Dragonflight? To get KSM, you need to clear every dungeon at +13 plus a couple of +14 max. +15 aren’t the best gear-wise and you also don’t get Concentrated Primal Focus from +15, you need at least +16 for that. There’s literally nothing special about +15 anymore.

What ? Like half of my best( or alternate best) runs had an hunter, and i dare to say i have hunter in most of my run for past 2 weeks .
Both mm and bm are in very good shape , idk why would people decline that , its also BL class .

I played with a hunter in nokhud offensive on a +17 last night, we were a full group on discord.
Hunters need some serious defensive buffs because I’ve never seen a DPS as squishy as them. This isn’t restricted only to that hunter, it’s all hunters. They seem to require babysitting or they die.

My bigest issue is they usualy do die most avoidable stuff , but that rangeds in general in my case . Feel like they are all casting, not wiling to dodge because “meh healer will heal that, im going brrrrr and my dps is importanter” .
Still, i dont feel like hunters are somehow in disadvantage or comunity look at them at them like they are anchor thats draging them down in key or something , there are far more “hated” classes/specs.
Ofc, this is just my pov and aply only to mm/bm, idk how is surv realy and i havent seen single one since s4 of sl.
