Why are you so against optimizing your class performance? I hate to be that guy but nobody cares if you play off meta. You’re literally gatekeeping yourself. Why make things harder for yourself just to flex by saying you made life hard for yourself… ?

It’s not optimizing anything. NF is weaker for DH, it’s just guides say it isn’t, so it becomes self-fulfilling prophecy like this:
Every DH goes NF → nobody wants to play with non-NF DHs → non-NF DHs can’t reach 3k because they don’t get healers → people see only NF DHs in top X and make conclusions that it’s the best → every DH goes NF → …
But objectively it’s almost weakest covenant for DH (the only weaker is kyrian).
Playing NF DH would make it easier to find healers but harder to proceed because the hunt is weak and useless (easily stoppable), cr will most surely drop and while I’ll get more healers I’ll perform worse and will only get toxicity from them.
By the way, did you know that sinful brand also reduces casting speed and attack speed by 30%? And even if it’s dispelled then it’s free shackles. Think about it.
