I don’t defend blizzard.
I just hate cheaters and exploiters.. People who feel like they have to abuse or take advantage of any thing a dev of any game missed or did not take into account.
You do not have to do these things.. Just be decent
No, and that’s not the essential point. There’s no moral issue to debate here, but strictly a commercial one. And that’s where Blizzard falls short, because they are not providing a service they claim to guarantee, and we pay because we trust them , which then creates distrust, frustration, and is simply unacceptable, especially because communication, as often lately, is scarce and poorly managed.
The thing is, why are you taking them at their word?
Blizzard is very sheet these recent years, You should always assume something will go wrong or get messed up.
If you value your money so much as to be upset over things like this, just unsub

Agreed 100%, but there are people out there who don’t take games very seriously, and find most of their pleasure comes from breaking the rules and abusing weak spots.
Same goes for IRL. Some people are just built like it sadly. So it’s Blizzard’s job to prevent these things from happening to begin with.

If I enjoy playing and want to keep my subscription, I’m also entitled to expect that the game I’m subscribed to works properly. I’m not taking them more or less seriously, it’s not about the money, it’s about the fact that I choose to access a service, and that service, once offered, affects how I play and how I spend my time. So I am absolutely entitled to expect them to “do what they say” and not only that, to do it well. Their internal problems, whatever they are, mean nothing to me.
Also, the old simplistic argument of “if you’re not happy, unsubscribe” belongs to a binary mindset that I thought we had moved past long ago. Obviously things don’t work like that, it’s more complex, and if you were Blizzard’s lawyer, you would have done a terrible job…

I havent played for 2 days because i cant transfer, there is nothing to do on remix atm and all i wanted was to gear up a transfered char to retail…
Im not playing till they add the feature back.
I’ve got the option to convert available right now on on all but one of my level 80s. It’s definitely getting turned on and off dynamically somehow. Silvermoon server, no idea if that makes a difference.
Only my newest level 80 can’t convert for some unknown reason. Character was created less than 2 days ago.

Also certain legacy raids like sanctum and sepulcher aren’t dropping any loot for 3 weeks now

If only they would do that and put out a good expansion, but its gonna be full of bugs and exploits at start as per blizzard quality

They don’t care about any individual sub as long as you stay subbed and being like this will never matter to them.

So, transfer gets enabled, disabled, enabled, disabled and nobody knows what happens next and when it happens. Blizzard really should understand they’re not the only kid in the sandbox anymore, the competitors are becoming more and more intriguing every day. Getting new transmogs and a few mounts I most probably never use is kinda fun but my main goal is to raise multiple characters to 80 and not being able to transfer them to retail as promised is not exactly what I was expecting when I paid one more month of subscription.
I’m not threatening to quit, I probably never actually quit, but I’ve had long breaks before and another break is approaching faster each day this issue remains unfixed.

I have noticed some of my lemix characters were available for transferring while some other not
I suspect it was related to the time they created - neither level nor whether it had logged in doesn’t matter
Stil bugged for me, aint playin for couple days already bcz of that and even thinkin of not doin sub next time lol its pointless anymore
