Blood elf druids lol. Can you tell me apart from someone’s wishlist (which is what you linked frankly) just what Blood Elves and druidism have in common which would justify a huge retcon even Blizzard would probably say “errm no…”
And give me a lot, a LOT of substance, not just siubreddits and a couple of forum links.
Having said that actually, I couldn’t give a monkey’s about the lore now, Blizzard give even less a monkeys so don’t be surprised if you see Blood elven druids in 9.25 if someone told Blizzard they could make a few beans from race changes.

You simply asked where they are and I showed they exist. If you want to know more about them, a simple google search will be enough. Even Nbc News put them on their news webside.
That would be giving less monkey than Tauren Paladin, Z.troll Paladin, DK Pandas and Tauren Rogues.
Genuinely, I believe Nightborne druids make more sense than Blood Elf ones.
I THINK the reason they dont give it is so there would be more variety of races. blood elf is one of the most played race in the game. if they could be every class, it would become “world of blood elves”.

As i posted earlier… Blood elf druids already exist in-game. They are just one of the class/race combinations we can’t play because reasons.
Both makes sense, because both largely cowers the same schools of focus under druidism, all resto and balance, rather than feral.

As a BE enthousiast myself I really don’t see any benefit in having BE druids or even shamans. It would just clash with the lore.
If Blizz would decide to invest in BE lore, I’d like to see Silvermoon revamped, clean up the scourge, restore Tranquillien and make Quel’thalas ready for player housing (#hopium).
Oh and then there is the shaman.

I remember blood elf druids being requested back in TBC due to the botanica instance.
Druids really wanted the lynx model in the BE starting zones for cat form.
And Blood elves do have some restoration practices and since outlaw rogue is enough to give rogues to every race I do not see an issue with this.
So while lorewise they arent feral, guardian or balance they are resto druids.
They also have changed a lot over the years, they are no longer stealing the light from naaru’s. They have come a long way dealing with their addiction for magic even helping the nightbourne with theirs.
And I believe they really need to get in touch with their druidic past in order to start healing the dead scar and ghostlands.

This isn’t something new.
Undead Priests only make sense for Shadow.
Then they just added they can cast holy spells it just pains them a lot.
Same thing with void elves and lightforged draenei.
Due to how classes are made up with each spec being sort of its own class this is bound to happen, which is why I think class skins are needed from a lore perspective.
Taurens reason for being priest and paladin is because they are “sun worshippers”.
But they could just as well reskin priest into spiritwalkers.
Tauren was given druids to balance out the classes in vanilla even though there was nothing showing them being able to transform into other animals previously and why would someone turn into a bear when they are a huge minotaur already?
Hopefully down the line they add class skins and better lore to explain things.
but until then atleast the gameplay can be fun.
