Im not sure, if that would impact que times. Its not a thing that motivates healers only and healers only are the reason the que times are 45m. If it motivates 100% more ppl, the percentage of healers will be the same.
The problem is that in the current bad social experiment called rating system in this game would cause even longer ques, because all the rets and such normally 1600 players would want to finally get the glad mount. The healer cr/mmr system doesnt work, so without changes this would result in even longer ques, because healers just cant get there and they know it, while you get duelist + within few games on a fresh 70 dps…
What I need to do to play shuffle on 2800 mmr with 58% winrate - pump pve clown fiesta damage, run if they try to focus me, occasionally throw cc (usually not worth and not happening), survive for a minute and half, and game ends.
What I need to do to bounce on 2200-2300 in 3s - make perfect triple cc of enemy team, which is pretty annoying since meta is very aug-ele-rdru heavy, try bait def cds / peels before using offensives, perfectly rotate defensives and positioning, close a single clone on our healer which can lead to our lose etc

If you have 2 gamemodes with 1:1 equal rewards and one of these modes just ends up consuming/killing the other one, then one of them is clearly inferior. Tie a shuffle mount to a certain rating (higher than 2k4 though or preferably % based) and see what happens.
Relax, you have never played high-rated 3v3 either.

Why not? It is one of the most popular PvP mode and solo RBG will be popular too.
I believe I have enough skill to reach glad if I have a decent team but the real problem is time investment. I can’t invest time to build a team and I don’t want to, it is not e-sport. I’m playing 2-3 hours a day and sometimes 4-5 hours and I need to play after work, so that means my team mates needs to schedule their play time too meet mine. It is just too much coordination and effort to play a game. Plus, you need to use voice if you want to push high ratings. (I’m not against it, I used to lead pug RBG teams but most people doesn’t wanna use voice for PvP)
If you believe this will happen then it should happen. If people are gonna switch to solo because of similar rewards, this means solo is more fun than 3s (Which I agree) and people are playing games to have fun.
Again, it is a game and people don’t want to invest time on team building and finding people. They want to invest time on their skills and matches. We are not playing WoW Arena Manager 2023.
Generally, everyone is complaining because wow PvP is dying. Bots everywhere, boosters in 3s and 2s. Less healers. The only reason I’m renewing my sub every month is Solo Shuffle and hope for improvement that blizz gonna make in solo PvP content.
It is not just that, you actually need to find decent comps, you can’t play with random comps on higher ratings if you want to push. You need to sit Infront of the PC wait for applicants, check their exp + gear, ask if they willing to join voice and hope they will not leave after first lose. However, in solo shuffle just join the queue set your audio to max volume and do whatever you want when you are in the queue, cook, spend time with family, watch stuff, play other games.
The reality is 2s and 3s are not worth the time you invest.
WoW classic is MMO. There are queues for everything in retail. Most of the people who play retail are not playing on MMO mentality. 2s and 3s are just an opportunity for boosters and people who wants to get boosted.
Then don’t put the mount to 2.4K put it up to 2.8K or something. If people start playing competitive they should be rewarded. Put a different mount than 3s if that is the case.
Give me a team and a week you will see the drake in this thread.
This is my first forum post and I’m playing the game since WoD. So, believe me people posting here are fed up. I don’t understand why are you against the idea of rewarding solo players on higher rating with a different glad mount. It will definitely impact boosters, they are selling glad mount boost for over £400.
If they did that (f.e. legend mount for 50 wins above 2400 in solo shuffle) I would totally play for it!
Currently, there is no incentive to go above 2100 for people like me. Once I got the sick s2 enchant, my seasonal goals were basically accomplished

I totally agree with you mate. I got my enchant and nothing else really interesting after 2.1K. This will bring more players to solo and this might save PvP.

They haven’t managed to fix that for the duration of the entire season, that’s really a new low. I haven’t touched this mode since I’ve reached 2,1 in 2v2s and just want Shuffle to die at this point, it feels outright discriminating for everybody who plays a healer. I hope that Microsoft will replace the people who are responsible for this circus…
yes so by this exact logic people who invested more time than you and coordinated time to play together deserve better rewards for higher effort? what is the point of doing the harder thing if theres something way easier with similar or identical rewards?
Rated game modes mean ranks. “Fun” happens in casual, non rated game modes or low rating games on the rated brackets.
Of course nobody said you can’t have fun if you’re playing some good comp and you guys play well with eachother and win a lot. But oftentimes you have to sweat hard to not make mistakes in order to win on higher rating.
It’s an MMORPG. Rethink what you just said. What’s even the point of getting rating in solo brackets if you have no friends to even talk to about it.

do you really think there are no Shuffle boosters? have you ever wondered about those 5/6 accepts late at night? its obviously boosters and boostees trying to snipe eachother, the amount of times you see that one guy who plays kind of ok but then doesn’t press 1 button and seemed to die “accidentally”, yeah, no, that isn’t always just because somebody is bad, way too suspicious

Relax man, you play 14 characters, have more games played this season than loads of people have ever played in their life, only got your 2nd Glad this season from playing DH/Aug with a peak of 2498, and you have a DH that’s losing more than it wins at 2300 in Solo Shuffle from 1400 rounds - the bracket which you’re downplaying so much yet you’re struggling hard in it.
I guess you could say there’s some…irony here.

I stopped quing Shuffle on DH months ago, the spec sucks there anyway and I have nothing to prove more this season I’m just playing for fun with friends haven’t even remotely attempted to push any class for anything beyond a transmog

Yes I dropped after being 2550 peak when it was like #13 in EU months ago, and haven’t queued one on DH in months. It’s literally one of the worst Shuffle DPS specs. Literally nobody queues it except Tren and Johncoffee and that other guy, half the top ladder are their alts. But I genuinely dislike Shuffle and wouldn’t care at all if it was removed, too many problems in that bracket. To repeat my point, I’m playing for FUN right now. Not to grind 2900 shuffle rating to prove my point to some toxic SP main on a forum section nobody reads

Yes, I queue into LFG sometimes because of being bored. Added a lot of people from there. But you wouldn’t know what making friends is, cause you harass people on CD ingame.

If i want to farm some transmogs on alts for 1800 or 2400 or something ofcourse I will do it in shuffle, it’s just easier there, and when I have early shifts at work I don’t have people online at early hours to queue with after finishing work early, so I queue that instead. But if Shuffle were to be removed, I’d probably just queue up 2v2 in dead hours instead, search for ppl who need help with 1800 or something lowbie chill games and help them out, did that entire SL S2 and S3, S4 semi quit coz meta was beyond stupid in every bracket

Not really, people have their complaints about the system but you’re the one always downplaying the gameplay as if you aren’t the one losing more than you win at 2300. Also I don’t see anyone here that plays as many characters as you do and plays as much solo shuffle as you do, never mind also downplaying it constantly. The math ain’t mathing.

As I already told you, the spec is terrible in Solo Shuffle. You want quick easy proof unrelated to myself? Look at Trillebartom’s stream vods. He’s doing every spec to 2400 in Shuffle as a challenge. Most specs took him 1-2 days. DH took him nearly 2 weeks. It literally makes no sense for me to start farming it on alt characters if the spec was actually fun and good, even less sense that I have alts with more rating than my main

For a guy whose ego is as big as yours, no matter how ‘weak’ you think your spec is, it does not justify having a negative win rate from 1400 rounds played at 2300 rating.
