As my ghost revels in the admittance that Goblins are better than Gnomes in the post above, the Bilgewater Battalion are still making moolah and rousing chaos at a record pace!

After our Skullcloaks delved into the depths of the sewers beneath Bilgewater Harbour in an attempt to find the source of the strange slime that has been coming out of the taps, toilets manholes of the town ever since the initial Scourge invasion; they went down there only to discover another sprawling network of tunnels! There they found a secret Loyalist facility which had been carved out amongst the Highborne ruins which the Harbour was built over, a strange, other worldy creature who produced slime almost naturally and a member of the Royal Apothecary Society who had gone to insane extents to become ‘one with the ooze’. We can be safe (or unsafe) to say that our resident Forsaken are going to continue using this little discovery to our ends, and the rest of the Battalion are going to have to help clean up their messes as we found yesterday when the Sludgemaster, a crazed controller of water pumps attempted to flood Bilgewater Harbour and return it to the sea!

With more crazy antics abound, ESPECIALLY with our Blackrocks returning in full force, whether you’re a Goblin, Orc or Forsaken, the Battalion is the place to be! Uncle Bedlam wants YOU!

We’re taking a few chill days hanging around Orgrimmar and Bilgewater Harbour, maybe doing some patrols and training as once we’ve enjoyed the wedding of Wizzywix and Letzy in character on Wednesday we’ve got A LOT of work to do with threats and lucrative opportunities popping up right left and centre!

So, if you’re an Orc, Forsaken or Goblin who’s interested in joining us on our crazy adventures and battles to come we can be found in Bilgewater Harbour and/or Orgrimmar until Wednesday night! Uncle Bedlam wants YOU!

Well, the chill days are over!
After a few more social gatherings, meetings and a day at the market, we had to defend one of our facilities against the fanatics of the Dirge of Teldrassil. And tomorrow we’ll embark on the first of several campaigns.
No rest for the wicked!

It’s been a busy week for the Battalion, blowing up Legion assets being purloined by Loyalists and fighting undead dragons in swamps. Are we profiting off of it? Oh yes we are!

If you’re an Orc, Forsaken or Goblin, enlist with the Bilgewater Battalion today!

With a campaign incoming fast, tomorrow is a better day than ever to join the Bilgewater Battalion. In order to help people get a fix on hat kind of character they may want to join the Bilgewater Battalion on, I’ve assembled a quick guide to the three main racial groups that make up the Battalion:

The Goblins - Bilgewater Goblins REPRESENT!

The Bilgewater Battalion is, predominantly, a Goblin guild due to being the military of the ruthless Bilgewater Cartel. As a Goblin in the Battalion, not only will you have the opportunity to enjoy a lot of RP with other Goblins but you’ll also be spending a lot of time in Bilgewater Harbour. We’re highly supportive of any more mercenary events you may have up your sleeve or characters who are interested in engineering and working on new projects so whatever sort of Goblin you play (unless you’re a tree hugger), the Bilgewater Battalion will have a role for you!

The Forsaken - The Skullcloaks

“We’re gonna lose this war to ‘regulations.’ What’s next? Only wooden swords may be used?”

Believe it or not, this is actually a quote from a Forsaken catapult operator on the front in Gilneas during Cataclysm. The Goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel and the Forsaken have always been a great pairing due to the way in which neither spare much concern for adhering to regulations or being restricted in any way shape or form, working alongside each other on multiple occasions including the Darkshore Warfront. For this reason, the Bilgewater Battalion have our own contingent of Forsaken who have called themselves ‘The Skullcloaks’. Chiefly consisting of Forsaken apothecaries, engineers, scientists and soldiers who have found themselves disgruntled by the eyes of the Horde being upon their race after the betrayal of Sylvanas Windrunner; the Skullcloaks take pride in combining their skills with the Goblins of the Battalion whilst preserving their old ways, wearing the Skullcloak as a symbol of the way in which they no longer serve the Banshee Queen, but allies who at least have some form of moral compass.

The Orcs - Echoes of the Iron Horde

Orcs and Goblins go together perfectly, so it was no surprise that during Cataclysm we saw a large number of Orcs serving as soldiers and even a Captain of the Bilgewater Battalion. Now however we have seen Orcs and Goblins working together in the ‘True Horde’, the Iron Horde and more recently, Mag’har dreadnaughts and carriers showing up in Nazmir manned by both Blackrock Orcs and Goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel. For this reason we’re finally looking towards expanding the number of Orcs which we recruit who would work well in this trio of Goblins, Orcs and Forsaken. This is a great opportunity for Orcs who fit the concepts above, especially Blackrock Orcs who may not find themselves gelling with more tribal bands.

Ogres and Hobgoblins?!

This is a bit more of a rarity, but we also recruit Ogres and Hobgoblins! Hobgoblins are a bit of an obvious ally to Goblins, but from a bit of lore digging it has been found that during the Tanaris questline for the Horde, Megs Dreadshredder successfully recruits the Dunemaul Ogres as haulers and muscle for the Bilgewater Cartel. Therefore, whether you’re looking to play an Ogre in RP or add some Ogre flavour to that Iron Horde style RP with Orcs, we want you!

Recruitment - And I’ve seen Vulpera…?

Before I go into recruitment information, some of you may have seen that there are a few Vulpera in the Bilgewater Battalion. Recruitment IS still open to Vulpera if you feel that your character would definitely fit the Bilgewater Battalion concept but we are focusing more on our three core races, Goblins, Orcs and Forsaken right now. However if you really want to play with us on a Vulpera who may not really fit working for a greedy Goblin Cartel amongst Iron Orcs and Fiendish Forsaken, I highly suggest the Dustpaw Caravan who are close allies with our guild IC!

Not only do we have a guild finder posting but you can also reply to this thread if you want to be recruited. Otherwise, seek out one of our officers, Bettiboom/Gloamford, Gravenfield, Pekun, Blastwhistle and Letzy to ask about recruitment in game! We’re excited to have you along for our wild ride!

If you wanna be part of a group of extremely cool murderhob…- Horde soldiers, then look no further!
Vulpera are only thrown sometimes as ranged weaponry.
Forsaken get their own cool clubhouse!
And orcs - well, they get to look super big and bulky next to everyone else!

It’s a win for everybody! Join the Battalion today!

Yea, what they said!
Any Goblin who has the least bit of pride in themselves should join up! …or if yer just lookin’ for a steady income and a generous budget for your personal tinkerin’ projects, that’s also a valid reason.
Jus’ remember we’re a military.

Same goes for Forsaken and Orcs as well of course!

After a thrilling campaign where the Battalion learnt some hard to accept truths about the Horde and learnt just how much of a threat the Alliance separatists are, we’re now back home in Bilgewater Harbour as we bare witness to the final stages of Lieutenant Gravenfield’s project which has taken two whole YEARS to see through!

Seen as we’re back in the Harbour, we’re back to recruiting as well. If you’re an Orc, Forsaken or Goblin looking for some top notch RP that combines the mercenary laxness and zany inventions of the Goblin military, the mad science and cold cunning of of the Forsaken Skullcloaks and the brutal iron strength and war beasts of the Orcs - the Bilgewater Battalion is for you!

And just to further reinforce the companionship these fellas exhibit;
The other night the bulk of the Battalion took it upon themselves to brave the depths of an abandoned town repurposed by an insane noble, for little else than to rescue one of their own!
It’s one thing that it was a super nice thing to do, but they also fought some hella cool golems over there which I think is kinda rad, ngl. There was also family drama, big resolutions, good times™ all around.

Seriously speaking though, these guys are an incredibly good bunch to do any sort of events with and for, I truly couldn’t recommend this guild enough for the community alone, never mind the high variety of hijinks you may be getting yourself into with them if you join!
So if you’re a goblin, an orc or forsaken to whom the setup appeals to, come along!

Thank you Alicia! The event was absolutely amazing and it was amazing to be both a part of the event AND part of the story of Alicia Morton- or should I say Ravenspear?

Adding to Alicia’s points, not only are the Battalion a great group to DM for but we’re also big on supporting members making their own events and are always happy to help with any form of personal story advancement someone may want out of the guild. Recently we’ve been messing with a blend of NPCs and the addon Dicemaster which has not only made our events immersive but has also given everyone a tool which is easy to pick up and make events with.

I’ve got a feeling March is going to be a very interesting month for the Battalion, especially with our own amazing Omer wrapping up an event line which has been years in the making before he takes a short break!

The Battalion? They keep the Harbor and Azshara safe! Awful, noisy, loudmouthed delinquents, the lot! Love 'em! Read about ‘em in my paper, will ya’?

As an Alliance character, if you want to be left with a life-long trauma and a paranoid fear of goblins hiding behind every bush, these are your gobbo’s. Not even a massive battle between multiple forces will stop these absolute mad bastards from getting to you.

Besides our renewed quest to kidnap Desartin again, we’re currently on a week of events lead by our wonderful guild members and resting whilst we recruit more crazies into our ranks. Have you had an itch to play a Goblin alchemist or engineer? Maybe a Forsaken apothecary or an Orc that remembers Garroshes Horde and the Iron Horde fondly, wanting to command iron war beasts and work alongside Goblins once more?

If that’s the case, Uncle Bedlam wants YOU!
