Price go down because of the number of bots that entered to your server has x1000. There are less buyer because they tend to ban anyone receiving golds. Now GDKP is banned to lower the number of gold trading so they can ‘random’ ban as they do.

I mean that 1 month ago, I could afford elixirs and potions without struggle because my server was locked and free of botters so golds were worth it to farm by yourself. Living Flame EU Alliance. Plenty of people open world farming all zones.
GDKP made also passive income by raiding, help casual that don’t have infinite play time to ramp up their golds.
Now, everything is inflated because if you don’t buy golds (or don’t have massive golds stock from P1), you are screwed …
I still farm golds, I did more than 5k with auction house only. But seeing your 5k golds going down everyday suck. I’m actually farming AH to fight against botters, it’s an endless race. All of that because some zoomers dev thought opening Living Flame was a good idea.

It has nothing to do with GDKP removal whatsoever, they opened the server for new characters so an army of bots got in.
More bots equals more gold, and people still pay a hefty amount for raid consumes for the parsing culture we have. Opening the server is the result of the gold prices.
