Rubbery flank or zin’anthid farming will have made you 20k+/hour for the majority of the patch, questionable meat was also really expensive earlier on.

Yeah, the AH stuff is so dependent on the state of your server. On mine (as you’ll know since you’re here too!) some stuff like food mats don’t sell at all. We used to be able to make a ton from Zin’anthid (it’s how I made a lot of my gold in 8.2) but the market from that totally crashed. I still blame Kyrel bringing tons of stacks when he realm changed from Draenor!

Other things which sell on more populated realms (like some other crafting mats) were just useless for us on our small realm

The probability of not nerfing the current item is non existent. Alternatively they will add more mobile AH spells. There is practically 0 precedent in WoW history that such a modest but clear advantage to progress (e.g. not wasting time porting to towns in a raid) to stay isolated to lucky few so within months expect to see either more mobile AHs or that to be nerfed and have no AH on it.

I wanted this mount soooo badly but it was not meant to be. Making gold on a dead server just wasn’t happening. I don’t even care about the AH, I just wanted it for the model. Brontosaurus has been my favourite dino since I was a kid (even when they took his name away, although thankfully he has it back now!).

I’m a sad bunny today.

Obviously it’s 2 gold right now, since the expansion is over. Up until august you could get at least 20g each, and you can farm about 1500 per hour or so.

Just thought I’d inform you here in eu too that in US ravencrest a brutosaur spawned, however the starting bid is 5 mil, and no one bid for the first 11 hours, as expected in a way cause 5 mil is still a lot of money, they should’ve just put it lower, even just 1 mil and let people bid imo.

If it ends up unsold I’m gonna laugh!

So I obviously learnt mine, unless they change the starting bid in the future, which they could do, but was always gonna be a big gamble for me, 5 mil proved to be the minimum price, so I did all I could but it wasn’t possible to get it under that.
