let’s not put a negative connotation on the word modern, it’s not the modern way it’s just a person voicing one of his problems, and probably blowing it a bit out of proportion, there’s nothing modern about it.

The “Modern Way” of today is to throw tantrums and hysterias about nothing, and blow things out of proportions.
That and well… Defacing old works with “Modern spins” that are nothing more but pandering.

Fully agreed. And I am not even THAT old, so I am not a bitter boomer or whats the modern buzz word is. I am actually quite young and I feel that ‘modern way’ is all about tantrums. No one is willing to have a dialogue, but all is about yelling slogans.

I am rally tempted to just say “ok boomer” and walk away, but i’m not gonna do it. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend to know how people act, you are taking the behaviour of some online randos and applying it to a Whole generation/era, it’s not the norm, it’s probably just people venting for other things that happen in their private lives and most of the time what they argue/vent about probably have no impact on what you do. Other people rants annoy you because you think your problems are more important/valid then Others, and while this may as well be true it’s not a healthy way to think, there is Always gonna be someone that’s less fortunate or with worse problems, but i don’t think we need to draw a line on what complaints are valid or not, on what is whining and what’s not and we sure as hell don’t need a negative connotation to the word modern. you’re just calling it modern becacuse before internet and the like you wouldn’t read this opinions because communication was very limited and basically you communicated only with people you personally knew anyway.

And yet here you are, discerning that it’s just people “Venting” or “Expressing their opinion”, essentially doing that what you’re saying people are wrong to do when talking about the modern day’s typical operations.
Except it has an effect, and I don’t see it as simple “Venting” when it’s someone being so hostile with his “Venting”.
Considering how developers/companies today are absolute pansies, if anyone’s loud and hostile enough they will be “Forced to change”, even though a majority are perfectly happy with something. There are many instances of this happening.
Oh, and this isn’t someone venting for change in their private lives. It’s some jackass complaining about how a mount is “Ruined” because it can fly. So it’s just right to make fun of him for it.
Good thing I don’t go on massive rants about small things like… Mounts flying or anything in my personal life 
Oh shove off with this touchy-feely “It’s not healthy to be annoyed by things that people are unhappy about!”. Be more concerned about people who are constantly angry at everything in life… Feminists for example

If someone is dragging minor things around as some massive problem, they are consider whiners.

Never really knew because it’s a mount I don’t use.
I rest my case after this two sentences i don’t think we can have a conversation that is beneficial to anyone.
The conditional is there for a reason, i’m not saying this is Always the case.
I’m not upset it can fly, I was fine with it not flying though.
I didn’t even know it gathered complaints at it’s not flying status. Or I simply don’t remember.

Truth be told, I run the risk of getting the Blizzard PD cracking down on me if I gave a full scope of it… But basically it boils down to overprivileged wymuns in the west crying about being oppressed, while ignoring the eastern parts of the world.
To be fair people have been putting ‘modern spins’ on things since at least the Elizabethan era! There are parts of Shakespeare that are modern, for the times, spins on stories a lot older.
As the saying goes ‘there is nothing new under the sun’.
I disagree though. Social media have made this a much more common thing because anyone with access to it (which is basically anyone) is given a free soap box to stand on. And thus it has become a normal thing for many people instead of something that should (imo at least) be discouraged.
Giving your opinion on matters; sure.
Being outraged, insulted, hurt etc because of every little thing imaginable; not so much.
