[H/A/N Campaign] Ogrepowered; Azerite Island Hopping 🏝️

Massive thanks to Rogmasha for hosting such a memorable experience, I’ve enjoyed every moment (minus getting our collective rears obliterated by the blues. We’ll get you next time… and your little dog too!). Solid 10, would ogrepower again.

Moreover, kudos to the absolute OGs who flung turds at the Alliance; you guys are peak embodiments of the Horde spirit.

So it’s all ogre now?

Indeed it is!

And for added closer, since I wouldn’t want to keep the maps and epilogue story limited to people who’ve only followed the Campaign on the forum, here’s the final days of maps and the epilogue link:

And on the final day, the geysers ran dry. What was supposed to be a grand push against Brute’s Rise proved to be merely a distraction towards the Horde while the Alliance secured what Azerite remained out on the Eastern coast.

Through thick and thin, through many trials and battlefields, the island that was once a backwater had lost it’s material importance. With either faction no longer capable of justifying a continued military presence, the battle-scarred island was left abandoned to what it had once been; an island largely lost to historical records.

Few would remember what happened here save those who had gone, and the chroniclers tasked with maintaining ledgers on where Azerite had been harvested and shipped in from. From dust to dust, from fisherman’s isle to fisherman’s isle.

Thank you so much to everyone attending and helping host it all, and for the valuable feedback I’ve gotten throughout this past week!

Genuinely one of the few campaigns recently that has been enjoyable from start to finish, logistical and organisational nightmares aside on the Alliance it has been great fun, with great character development and importantly, memes abound.

Amazing to see so many people in one place and NOT crash the server as well. I wonder if it’s the presence of certain individuals that spread the chaos and discord that causes so many server crashings and drama that have erupted in campaigns of recent memory. One can speculate.

Hands down one of the most versatile and flexible campaigns I have ever been in. Possibly one of my favorite as well. Organization was top notch by everyone, but my God Rogmasha’s patience and timely response to everything, and the flexibility she display are so profound.

Not only that, the entire setting and atmosphere was so immersive and things varied between feeling awesome, to being trapped like rats in situation you had to come out with solutions to evade.

Shout to all the Alliance and Horde participants for being decent folks, as well. We met old friends, we made new one, and certainly looking forward to fight alongside and against all those again.

(On a side note, if ogres ever become playable, mine will be one of those Stonemauls we escorted back home from the Isle!)

Had a fantastic time on Targrun, nice to have decent levels of interaction with both factions, and to be part of a true neutral group.

Really enjoyed it, I am glad to see old enemies of mine are still out there. I had fun interacting with you all and hope to keep that interaction going in the future. The campaign was an overall enjoyment for me and The Hand of Agony. Thank-you all ever so much for a fun experience.

An excellent campaign overall! I had great fun bringing the Tidemother’s justice to those smelly Ogres & co., even through the (at times) intense lag.

… Come to think of it, I should probably invest in a better PC.
