Not been able to make it on tonight but I saw the screenie and bloomin’ hecc that’s a lot of folks ready to punch people in the face
It is FRIDAY my lovely bunch of sunshine bunnies and what a glorious morning it is! (I am freezing my socks off. I’m not happy about it.) I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Last night was - to put it bluntly - BLOODY FANTASTIC! We broke our previous record of Brawl’gar participants and we had to use two raid groups but we not only managed to make it work, all of you were wonderful and helped keep it smooth! It wasn’t just Brawl’gar that was a resounding success though - the Cook-Off was equally as awesome and wholesome with a variety of food and creativity that caused Jikaia to make happy noises! It was truly a pleasure for us to see everyone enjoy themselves and keep it going! Thank you so much for being amazing! But of course you’ll be wanting to know who the winners are, and they are as follows:-
- Brawl’gar Champion: Assina Sunhawk!
- Second place: Lenti!
- Third place: Drohka Grimsplitter!
For the Cook-Off:-
Champion Chef: Ji Soo Tenderpaw
With the dish ‘Close to the heart’
Peoples Champion (vote): Tarohe Rockhide
With the dish ‘Wild-Plain Suprise’
Congratulations to our winners!
Tonight sees a more somber theme, but equally as culturally important as anything else during the Kosh’harg, and here we go!:-
-
20:00: Ritual of the Dead - Join us as we take a pilgrimage to Oshu’gun to pay our respects to the ancestors. You may bring an offering if you wish. Please note that everyone will be walking there together, but only orcs may enter the mountain. We will meet at the Western Gates of Garadar.
-
20:00: Unclean Pyre - Join us as we take a pilgrimage to Oshu’gun. Upon arrival, all non-orcs have their own ritual to participate in! You may bring an offering if you so wish. Please ensure you follow Enrah for this! We will meet at the Western Gates of Garadar.
-
22:00: Fireside Stories: We can’t end on a sad note! This is the time to share and bond with others by telling stories of folks long gone, experiences that linger with you, and so on! Whatever stories you have, we would love to hear them! To ensure you get a chance to tell your story, please contact me through whisper tonight! We meet at the main bonfire!
Thank you, and we are excited to see you all tonight! Lok’tar ogar!
Gooooooooooooooood MORNING ARGENT DAWN! I hope you’re all having a fantastic day today!
Last night saw Ritual of the Dead and Unclean Pyre underway, bringing everyone together in solemn solidarity. It wasn’t all frowns and sadness - for we also shared stories around the campfire! Special thanks to Nomu, Kazura and Zezha for sharing their tales!

As I sadly will not be available at tonight’s event, allow me to say it has been an absolute blast being part of the host team for this Kosh’harg, and thank you to everyone who has showed up and taken part!
LOK’TAR OGAR!
Sadly I won’t make the closing ceremony, but I’ll chalk that up to Vakosh being in dire straits after last night’s drinking contest.
Huge thank you to the organizers, it’s been a blast in Garadar.
Thank you for organizing another amazing Kosh’harg.
I really enjoyed the festival, and had a lot of fun interacting with everyone

Looking forwards to the next one!
Autumn sweeps across Nagrand the Kosh’harg is over for the rest of the year and with Winter soon approaching we think on the week that has just been. There were some tense moments in Saddles of Treachery, some folks most certainly were thrown in the lake, while Archery said hold my pint and we had the highest Expert score we’ve ever seen at the festival.
Later seven orcs earnt their honour names and the following night meat from their hunts was shared among the chefs in the tavern kitchens. Where a special tribute to Dalaran cheese was made.
Brawl’gar had forty three sign ups and a line of keen brawl enthusiasts that went right back from gate to training dummy. There were rivalries and punches thrown to match any Lok’vadnod. The Kosh’harg even welcomed its first earthen to the contests.
Then on Pilgrimage night shared one of the more sacred moments with all festival goers.
Winters Endurance and Drinking tested the resolve of many as both ran late into the Nagrand evening, with muscles aching and bellies full of ale the festival attendee’s woke to the final parting celebrations where…
We say Aka’magosh to the Kosh’harg festival this time.
We give a special thanks to all who attended and put their characters and their energy into making the whole town of Garadar come to life with Horde roleplay. Its been great to see everyone and share orcish culture and we look forward to being back in the Spring.
Many thanks from the Winter Sun Kosh’harg team!
Thank you for another wonderful event <3
