The time has come to share stories in honour of the spirits; whether it is of the long watch of An’she, the nourishing rains of Shango, or the ancestors who guide their descendants to this very day. The disparate peoples of the Horde are invited to come together, and exchange the stories of their gods and patrons.
Date: Saturday, 6th of July.
Time: 20:00, server time.
Location: Valley of Spirits, Orgrimmar.
Faction: Horde.
Hello, everyone. Inspired by Manata’s excellent Orgrimmar Story Nights, I’ve decided to use a similar format to host a small event to encourage RP that’s not related to guilds or events, and hopefully allow roleplayers to connect through a relatively small, intimate event that isn’t focused on combat. I also wanted to use the criminally underrated Valley of Spirits.
It’s ideal that a character come with a story - this may be a poem, a song, or something similar, but it’s ultimately not necessary if you would rather stay and watch. The story is preferred to be about spiritual matters; any tale of the loa, ancestors, An’she, and so on will be right at home here. It can be based off the game’s lore, a guild adventure, or an entirely original story - unreliable narratives, creation myths, and the like are entirely encouraged!
It’s also encouraged that you come with your story written ahead of time, which should hopefully be achievable in the time until the event. It’d be ideal of it lasts less than twenty minutes, though being a minute or two over is perfectly fine.
Hope to see you there.
