Hello, I am a totally new person who has not posted here before. Cough cough.

In terms of alternative magics, would a hydromancer or perhaps a “runemaster” type character played through a monk be welcome in the guild?

Just asking out of curiosity.

Before I first joined about a year and a half ago, I was horrified of joining a new guild, but the members made me feel extremely welcome before I even had an invite.

I can honestly say I’ve never met such a nice group of people, and to this day I haven’t had a single thought about leaving. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to get into magey belf rp!

To answer your question, we don’t currently recruit Monks into any of the ranks due to uniform only being available to certain classes.

As for alternative magics, I know you’re a fan of all sorts, as long as whatever concept someone brings forward is viable with conclusive lore evidence, then myself and our officers are open to helping someone harness and develop ideas for a character that’s right for them. :v:

Recruitment Update

All recruitment into our casting ranks will be frozen for the time being (Apprentices/Guardians) just until all of our lovely new members settle in!

I’ll keep those who have registered interest updated and will announce when we are open again!

Hawkrider recruitment will remain open for two more places!

Writing prompt

Hey sunreavers! We thought it’s about time for another writing prompt. As we’re getting closer to the festive season, this prompt will be: ‘Something you’ve gained/lost’

Seen as Christmas is creeping closer and we all have less time, we’ll keep it open for around 4 weeks, so you have up until Christmas day for submissions!

Please post your character stories into the scribes channel with the appropriate hashtag so we know that it’s for this prompt! Let’s get creative!

Recruitment Update

We’re pleased to announce that Hawkrider’s are no longer limited to Hunters, but we’re now accepting rogues for this role too!

However, we’re only accepting rogues that pursue an arcane orientated path, and are not accepting those that enhance their abilities through shadow-infused abilities. By this we mean supplementing rogue abilities for an arcane variant, e.g. stealth being a form of illusion magic, weapon-enhancements being arcane (so shadow blades being ‘arcane blades’ or something) - essentially if you play a subtlety rogue this won’t be the place for you. This is not to say we won’t be accepting scoundrels and the like - so you pirate-sailor and more surreptitious assassin types are fine to apply - however the decision to limit shadow-orientated ability rogues is to fit with our guild theme of primarily arcane magic.

Guild News

(30/11/18) Welcome to our new Hawkrider this week, Elanna Goldsworn!

We’ve had interest from an Apprentice who wishes to take their ascension trials, so I’ll be doing my rounds over the weekend to see if anymore Apprentices wish to join in the games. Even if you don’t intend for your character to pass, it’s always fun to watch an join in!

Kayleen Felo’dal has some lovely new ideas for Sunreaver duelling, so it’ll be starting up again very soon!

After a billion years, as I keep forgetting, the new armoured uniform choice (Aethas set) including a new cape and belt to go with it, has finally been updated on the welcome channel and the website with a helpful boss guide to drops.

As people keep frequently asking, it’s not replacing our current uniform, it’s just another choice for your character to wear if you feel it’s more fitting!

Hello!

I hope everyone had pleasant holidays and are all filled up, along with having made their new year wishes!
We will of course be around as usual, starting with the RP-PvP Campaign in a week! After that, our character development stories, guild stories and amazing RP will continue!
