They’re not bringing it back. They’re bringing back a recolor. No one can get the original MT appearances.
Personally I think they should’ve introduced a recolor for each spec instead of this lame t20 recolor.
Yes they are bringing it back, saying otherwise means you are being purposely naive. It’s not the color itself it’s the entire skin that is exclusive of MT, same for the other 35 appearance.
Can you get another ghost of the pridemother somewhere except for MT? No.
Can you get another Apocalypse challenge skin identical to the MT but from a different color in the game? No.
I could repeat this 34 more times, and the answer would be “NO” 33 times except for Guardian Druid.
So yes, since they broke the promise of not bringing those skins back, the least they can do is release 1 color for every spec.
As it is right now, it’s unfair for both wanting them to stay locked forever and it’s unfair for those wanting MT skins back.
And it’s especially unfair against feral Druid because smh, Bear who “can’t see their armor in combat” get a MT recolor but Feral one is no where to be seen.
Like really, it does not matter if you are pro exclusive items or against them. How they release this is bad from every side.

Yeh I think they should just give everyone the recolors of the MT artifacts instead of t20 recolors. I sure won’t be doing MT for t20 recolors lmao.
Yes, my point is simply that the explanations they gave does not justify bear more than any other spec in the game.
There are really some good looking and unique weapons there as well. If they took one step in that direction, they should go down that path and give 1 to each class.
At least I am happy they did not gut it like the order hall sets.
If they give it back I am.happy people can have the full appearance and not a rip off.

That’s the issue though. The model was too unique to just be a seasonal reward. We already have way too many fat bear skins in the game but no muscled werebear skins. That’s why they’re bringing it back. And people still won’t be able to access any natural colors of the original. Just the fel-corrupted purple fur color.
That said they should implement a recolor for each spec. It’s the right way to go.

because the gun/spear and all sets from MOP were pretty unique too

That said I wouldn’t mind real MoP and WoD CM recolors to be implemented. The Legion class hall sets are an embarrassment. It was done because the MUH EXCLUSIVITY crowd would had gone ballistic and it resulted with ugly garbage sets with reduced quality and belts that cut off the tabard. Pathetic.
