both are easy to get. But you can actually have fun while farming marks of honor

There used to be heirlooms I purchased doing PvP- wasn’t it from wotlk ? But I never figured out what happened to them, or upgrading them. I have on one of my accounts very different looking shoulders than other accounts, so those must be the PvP ones… I do not even recall how many pieces there were on wotlk pvp vendor or if they are still in-game.
But I know in past PvP was a way to get heirlooms.

I did look up - you can buy heirlooms with marks … but seems they really forgot adding marks upgrades. Which makes no sense since you can use almost any event or what-not-random currency to buy upgrades.
I think it is oversight rather than done in purpose.
(yes, I always re-check things even if people claim things on forums :P)

I’m unsure what my class has to do with this.
They never had upgrade tokens for PvP, not even when you bought the upgrades with Justice Points.

You can buy upgrades with PvP marks, but just 60 to 90. Then the next 90-100 , 100-110, 110-120 upgrade is with PvE stuff or gold.
This table shows it clear. I originally mis-read original post, but after i saw the table and re-read OP, I was like, “right… duh” and I agree this should be fixed.
When it is so clearly laid out - it screams “not fair”

I suppose not, so would it really hurt to implement the ability to buy it with honor marks?
It should be added, perhaps the developers will pay attention to the EU forums for once and bless us with Marks of Honours for Heirloom gear. I will continue to use gold as I can make it easily without too much effort but, still the option is always nice.

with the return of pvp vendors they might as well update the pvp heirloom vendor

New Information
In Shadowlands all heirlooms will be marked down to level 50. Hazelnuttygames has put together a good video explaining how they will work going forwards.
