My ears still poke through helms as do prawns
Why do you have prawns on your helmet?
The āfixā seems to be super inconsistent. So far female draenei (the normal ones) are the only ones where I noticed the clipping being fixed.
Both male tauren and male highmountain tauren still have clipping:
Does this apply to tauren and highmountain aswell?
Edit: nvm already answered. Good thing you all can still see my horns.
Blood elf ears/eyebrows still clipping.
I was happy about this change, but then my paladin is lightforgedā¦
I still see my horns through pretty much every helm.
Also I hope itās smart enough to do it only where it makes sense. Iāll be pretty mad if my tusks are removed on open faced helms.
I would certainly hope that this isnāt / wonāt be a blanket change to all horned races and all helms. I mainly play Taurens and tend to favour non closed helm types like crowns and tiaras. If the horns were to disappear in these circumstances then this would look a bit ridiculous!
I actually kind of like my elvesā ears poking out, especially if its a cloth hood or something where Iāve always assumed thereās just holes for their ears or something. It seems stranger to me that horns/antlers would just magically disappear rather than protrude from armour.
I think this is a case of Icy-Veins taking 1 screenshot as proof for a patch.
Even when testing on draenei there is still a ton of helmets that clip with the horns (some of them look really really bad).
I suspect it was just the event helmet (the one in the screenshot) that was fixed.
The patch notes also donāt mention this in any way.
alliance night elf bias
Itās the same with Blood Elves and Void Elves, only Blood Elf ears are hidden. This is due to the fact that they have to do it for every single race seperately.
Although it just looks very bad. It almost like the horns have been cut off. I think if they want to go that route they should give an option to toggle horns, ears or hair on and off while wearing a helmet.
