High elf Allied race

There is nothing here to be constructive about. What difference is a Allied race about this going to make? Race tag when people mouse over your character? Blonde hair?

Let’s assume there where any worth while differences. What is this guy hoping to achive? That’d we’d get high elf and void elf next to each other in the rooster in the character creation screen? Everybody and their own mother realizes how ridicilous that would look. Or even worse, Is he expecting blizzard to pull back on Void elves now and suddenly just turned them into High elves?

Well technically only the Horde gets the “High Elf look” with the addition of those Blue Eyes.

The Alliance will get almost “High Elf look”, due to different hair colors, hair styles and void hair.

Not a problem for me personally, but I really wish they’d add a jet-black hair color (like the humans have) and a snow-white hair color (like the Night Elves have).
It’s cool and suits the Void Elves seeing as they are so damn edgy and everything.
And it’s different from what the Blood Elves have as their black is more “blue-black” and their white is more of a “platinum blonde”.

To be honest I thought the high elves were platinum blonde. Like all whitey knightey yellow glowy thingy.

Then I checked the w3 icons and yeah they were blonde.

In the Warcraft RTS games they’re blonde yeah…

In WoW most of them have been a pale blonde/platinum blonde…

In lore they are just the same as the Blood Elves, as they are the same people.

Well one can only presume the “void” apprentices get their blonde tainted by their new found hobbies, however I have zero explanation for why they can keep the platinum blonde. So then just give the blonde option to void elves and be done with it.

The closest you get is a gray’ish thing?

All I want is mah jet-black and snow-white :stuck_out_tongue: Couldn’t care less about the blondes, browns and reds personally.

I guarantee you that the crusade isn’t over until they have blond hairs - otherwise it’s not a true helf.

That is simply not true. Many notable high elves did not have blonde hair.

I just skimmed US forums too and there was no request to be seen in top 100 or so threads,

I think Blizzard wanted to have some distinction remain. Even if they get hair colors, the style of hair is going to be similar to void elves, not that of blood elves.

I don’t think Blizzard would randomly decide to not give them hair. In fact they are not getting any blood elf hair, least of the color blonde.
