You can already play as a High elf in both factions, we’re also not at war right now. The high elf difference was just political, they’re the same race as Blood elves and Void elves.

Have they expanded? Have they claimed territory? Have they even put significant numbers of children into the world? I don’t see a High Elven city anywhere. Well, unless we go by the official definition of the Blood Elves being the High Elves (which is even without Blizzards own reaffirmations the canon lore).

Then honestly the only thing Blizzard could do to solve that issue is coming out and saying “lads, lasses, there’s never going to be an indipendent High Elven allied race in this game”.
Guess the only way to make them see is slapping them with the truth in the face.
There IS no story to be told because it has already been told in the Bloodelf Lore!

I mean, 90% of the High elves died during the scourge invasion of Quel’thalas. Like I guess 9% turned into Blood elves (a lot of them went to outlands with Kael’thas and were later killed), then a 1% of those stayed as High elves because they liked the alliance more, which are not that much, since the ones in the EPL became wretched.

So then why can’t High Elves fit in as a new race? They’re uncorrupted versions of Blood Elves who never abused fel energy, never joined the horde and they never abused void magic like the Void Elves

Because you already have high elves, void elves are high elves and they have high elf customization options. Blood elves are also high elves, the difference is just political at this point.

Dude if you’re a void elf and walk around stormwind city all the npcs will literally call you a monster and that you don’t belong with them. How the hell is that a respected High Elf who fought alongside humans?
Can you explain how a race of elves who abuse fel energy are the same as those who don’t?

I literally told you those customization options are gameplay options without lore tied to it.
What did you expect? A full on minority-support treatment? Should now the dialogue for an entire allied race be re-coded as well because some people wanna be the 0.01% group of remaining High Elves?
