Is there possibility to get confirmation from GM´s/DEV´s what are chances of dropping it? I mean, does it have higher chance to drop from 1.st try of the day? What level is required to drop?
The problem is when you’re limited to try only a couple of days a year. Which is the case with the rare event rewards. You can’t choose when to pursue them.

Just got it on my 3rd attempt today.
I see your point, and whilst I’m not neccesarily disagreeing, the issue happened with the Doomhawk or whatever the anniversary mount was called… It wasn’t a 100% drop chance, and people were going crazy in forums, Twitter etc. you could almost see the pitchforks and fire in the written rally… They listened and made the drop chance 100%, and then people started going crazy, that there is no sense of achievement, how the mount or getting it now lost value and mount was now just a dust collector in the collection etc. etc.
So whilst I do understand the frustration, I also think in these matters its important to reflect before yelling “OMG BLIZZARD SUCKS!!” that regardless which option they choose, some will complain
Which is exactly why some bad luck protection would be nice. Make the drop chance increase by 5% a day or something, so that anyone who puts in the effort for daily kill is guaranteed to have it by the end of the event, and you have a compromise…

i stopped after 4 days and over 50 tries.
i dont care anymore for this stuff. you can keep it Blizzard my time is to value for this.
well, I think Ive gotten every other possible christmas toy and pet so far but no manuscript…
TBH I doubt I would ever use it (but I kinda want it anyways!!LOL).
