Weirdly enough I was able to buy the weps today. The window is still red but I was able to buy.
Welp, remains broken for me. Bought arcanum, capped again and tried. Still says I need to earn 5252 more honor. Iām out.
Itās like they just dont care about Cata
Wonder if they will re-release the anniversary Cata in same crappy state as this version in a few years again once it progressās through the expansions.
i just bought the weapon, it wasnāt even red as i expected it to be.
before that i bought 2 rings, 1 trinket, neck and i had 3700 honor on me
I already had this happen in WotLK for some reason, then after a couple days I could suddenly buy the weapons.
So probably just keep trying!
I think I found out what the issue here is.
Started from scratch on a new toon collecting honor today. I have more than 7200 worth of gear already on me, but still missing honor earned to buy the weapon. The number that you see when trying to buy does keep going down accurately now while doing BGs.
Now, A big bunch of my initial honor I got completing various Wintergrasp and Tol Barad quests. That was probably something in the range of 1500-2000 of honor, which seems about right for the figure I am missing from the honor earned.
So I guess whatever system there is doing the monitoring of honor earned, just isnāt there when turning in a quest in the open world and getting honor as quest reward.
Yeah, probably not working as intended.

Well that is a different issue, I was talking about having enough honor, and having the rating requirement, but then the game said I didnāt ahve the rating requirement.
I was never unable to buy the honor weapons that had no requirement.
i converted about 1000 justice points to honor when i bought the weapon on my latest alt, so honor earned outside of BGs definitely counts, never set a foot in wintergrasp/tb tho so you may have something here
