The price has already crashed down in 3 days from ~1400 to ~600 a piece. Soon it will probably be only worth to vendor it.
The weekly reset comes with a huge influx of crystals, so theyâre likely a bit cheaper at the start of the week.

Yes, the price will come down indeed⌠but thatâs because most casuals just donât bother with them because theyâre so over-priced to start with. The initial high cost teaches casuals that theyâre an optional extra. Iâm pretty casual and my fire mage alt didnât need one at an ilvl of 195 at the start of 9.1, so why bother spending even 10k for one now that the char is 215 ilvl?
SL has such a weird structure for content. Legendaries and Torghast are supposed to be a very important part of SL, but at the same time are entirely optional for players like me. Whatâs that all about? It feels tlike the devs have split the game into several versions of WoW with different progression systems / currencies / gear aimed at each target group. Just makes the whole thing feel disjointed to me, itâs almost like Iâm playing an entirely different game to M+ runners or Rated PvPers.

A long time ago I stopped doing any dailies in Korthia except research ones. I simply do them and any âeventsâ on the way and get out.
I have my two principle spec rank 6 leggos I have no interest in Korthite crystals anymore beyond their sell value, but Iâm not going to go out of my way to get them when they sell for a measly 1k and may drop further.
Tarren is down to 700
Ah it was nice free gold when you had a lot of alts to do the daily quest.
Only 500g~ each now so not even worth wasting time farming them on alts anymore.

Crystals are going for lower prices right now; like Punyelf posted, on Draenor the prices is roughly 650 gold which is not much compared to two weeks ago.

Not really out of nowhere; the keenest players already got at least 1 t6 sorted, maybe 2 - then they ran out of cinders.
Now the initial wave is over, people have their main specs ticked off and can take the next t6 legendaries at a slower pace. Meaning no big drive to buy them from the AH

Yeap, three as a reward up for one of the quests again today for my characters (think that is 3 days out of 4/5) so little old me has been given 36 just from one quest. There is a glut of them as a result the price of the runecarver items have dropped (on my server anyway) the cape is 80K right now (262 version) a little lower and my alts can have an upgrade.
