I made a macro to /spit when I taunt, now it works in pvp.

too many people here laughing at op and making themself look like idiots, including a ‘‘mvp’’ that doesn’t understand that the reason op is confused is cause of a pvp talent that replaces torment.

@op the reason it shows pvp talent is becuase you have a pvp talent called ‘‘tormentor’’ it replaces your taunt in pvp with the talent, remove the pvp talent or turn off warmode so it becomes a taunt.

PvP talents do not work in PvE instances, in a raid they would still have Torment.

hes obviously not in a raid when typing here, hes most likely standing in a city/outside the raid wondering why he doesn’t have a taunt, which is why he says its a pvp talent, if you go to his armory you will see he has tormentor wich replaces torment and which is why he cant find a taunt.

why he cant find it? becuase its replaced by his pvp talent which is also confirmed when he says that it says its a pvp talent which you could have confirmed if you spend 5 seconds to go to his profile.

just cause he says that he has no such ability for raids doesn’t mean hes in a raid or even checked it in a raid, he could be standing outside somewhere.

do you while raiding spend time in the middle of the raid reading all your abilities? or do you do it before you enter the raid to play such a role?

Torment, PvP talent swaps it with Tormentor, but it turns into a non-pvp talent in PvE instances ( Dungeon, raids ect )

so how exactly did you help him by posting a link to torment on wowhead and saying that you cant taunt players in pvp?

You clearly have a bee in your bonnet and can’t let it go. You wrongly accused me of mocking the person, which I did not.

The OP got many answers, Magiola had already explained the PvP aspect of the talent.

I was explaining the PvE aspect, in addition to this. Directly answering the question how to how does a DH taunt in a raid. Which I have quoted numerous times now. My tongue in cheek comment was in relation to a taunt not being relevant in PvP, it is not needed because player characters do not respond to taunts. Taunts have no effect.

The OP never replied to anyone, they never asked a follow up question, which we would have answered, either the answers he/she got were sufficient or they worked it out on their own.

You on the other hand are taken offense on someone else’s behalf and raging at all the wrong people. In every thread not everyone is helpful but it is even less helpful to belittle and pick on the people who were being helpful.

i am not raging, i am pointing out you and many others here are not being helpfull and you exspect people that are new to the class to understand every single aspect of it.

your posts show pretty good why blizzard should remove ‘‘MVP’’ status from the forums, most mvp dont know anything about the game.
