just a questions (never tried it) as I play guardian in pve:
How do you do 15k dps on a single target?
I mean I can hold myself with 20k Dps and nearly 20k HPS in m+10s but those are multi target and crits are not nerfed either.
Didn’t find any pvp talent that boost the dmg that much actually
I think it comes from your team-mate for exemple monks debuff +5%dmg and the talent when you taunt a target you do x more dmg to it (I don’t remember the exact amount) and it’s stackable if I’m right.
The majority of the damage of the guardian druid I played with came from Moonfire and Bramble.
Bramble doesn’t hit very hard (1500 per hit), but it had triggered about 3000 times over a match.
Thrash was third on his output.
The comp is beyond stupid because:
A) The guardian druid doesn’t take any damage and heals himself
B) The guardian does about 15k dps himself
C) He heals me a lot (80K Swiftmend ayyyyy)
D) Hpala doesn’t run out of mana and hardly has to spend any due to us taking no damage
E) My damage gets enhanced.
F) I get free Dstance ontop of my own Dstance
I can easily hold about 20k-24k dps because I don’t have to play defensive at all.
i understand they heal alot, no arguement there.
But 15k dps is hard for most dps already.
he does many small hits, but if I am just doing 20k dps in pve with 5 mobs presents and pveing them down, i doubt 15k dps is possible in arena with 1 target and reduced crit.
also brambles only do dmg if you attack the bear, which you obviously don’t
The way I understand it, any attack whether DoT, AoE or ST triggers Bramble, especially when Protector of the Pack redirects damage to him.
Barkskin also enhances it.
He definitely doesn’t do 15k against a single target, but that’s hardly ever the case. Moonfire, his main dmg source, can be spread from pretty far away.
All in all though, it’s basically like importing a healer, dps and tank all in one package.
