If you buy a code from someone as long as they obtained it legitimately you have no reason to worry.

The codes are not region locked, only the promotion was. The Mtn Dew we get in the UK is just one item of a whole range of products in the US. Believe me. I lived there for 11 years. It would make absolutely zero sense for PEPSICo to promote their product over here as Mtn Dew is practically unheard of over here. They could have done the Dorito’s promotion however but whether or not it would be commercially viable is another matter.
