Ok sry jokes aside, yes Aug was a game changer and I played Aug for a while and I like it, it’s fun, kinda challenging sometimes to manage all your buffs amid mechanics… not so fun when DPS flame you for not buffing them and complaining that it’s your fault to be so low on the dps chart… but its nice to be there to support your group.

This is an easy question. All you need to do:
- Go to your profile
- Go to subscription section
- Click “Unsubscribe” on the button.
- In the questionary which will be shown after, in the reason put something like “Augmentation broke the game balance. Because of that I don’t want to play the game anymore”
- You don’t play the game anymore and not giving any money to Blizzard.
- If enough people do that, in time they will take actions.

your problem ( and all the other ppl who say we like aug ) is you have not seen a pole on how many people do like aug and its existance …
the problem with aug does not just end with its complication , do yo think its annoying when your aug is bad and has low ebon might uptime ? YEAH ! your answer is a big yes , do you think its annoying when the aug dosnt know when to do hes breath hes scale uptime on tank and all the other stuff ? YES it is annoying and to extend to all of these problems poeple generally dont like the fluff role , like it or not there are multiple proofs of this showing in other video games …
Roles that are representive of qoute on qoute ( SUPPORT - FILLER ) which is exactly what aug is cause identity crisis for the majority of individuals who are participating . and that my friend is a bullzeye analysis that you cannot counter argue because its backed by science .
you are either a healer your role is clear you are keeping people alive , or you are a tank who is generally a big MF who protects the group by mitigating harm , or your a chad who does damage and kills everything ( which is the most popular one no surprise there ) as someone who has played every role in the game to a very hiigh end level ( Mythic raiding / top 0.1% m+ ) i can safely say that is how it works …
What are you as an aug exactly ? Ahhh hmmmmm ummmm let me think … OH i just walk around like a retard i buff people i do some small damage here and there ( less than the healer sometimes ) i also buff my guys stamina and sometimes i make them take less damage , and ehhh ummm let me see what else … oh i also grab people and move them around here and there making they’re life easier … like you get the point ? You are just running around like a clown as an aug you are not doing anything specific or special .
and the biggest problem with all of this is the power in which they do it , tbh if they just nerf aug to like ground and i mean dead spec ground none of this stuff is a problem , like feral druid is a good example its a spec no one likes and its generally has been weak for pretty much for ever … as long as this game has existed , and its not a problem no one plays feral no one cares … everyones happy , thats what they need to do with AUG nerf it to ground so no one cares its not mandatory anymore , thats where you will see how terribly designed aug is , once no one plays it anymore cause its not mandatory
its literally gonna be the same thing as feral druid , who ever likes feral will play feral regardless of its powerlevel and no one brings a feral anywhere and everyones happy ( beside the guy who plays feral obviously ) but thats hes problem , overall o think nerfing aug to a level where its existance is close to neglegable is an overall perfect fix for this situaation , the better fix would obviously be to rework it to an actual dps spec like Devastation is but yeah GL getting that …
Didn’t they say when Augmentation was on PTR if the spec is well received, they will look into ways giving other classes with fewer specs potentially also options for a “support role”?
Like, I can totally imagine Priest/Paladin having one centered around giving Allies shields and recovery buffs. (Not saying Paladin needs any more specs than now, we already have 3)

But I don’t think that’s true; I think people are just mad that it’s imbalanced because it forms a 4th arm on the holy trinity and there are no other options.
I like augmentation evoker, and frankly it would be nice to bring other classes with a similar concept, perhaps holy paladin in this case could be considered a healer ‘support’ or enhancement a dps ‘support’ that also enhances team mates in providing more primary/secondary stats via auras, totems or other spells.
Maybe that’s exactly the issue. Not that it’s there, but that there is no… What was the word again for it? Variety? Diversity of that role?
Yeah, I mean imagine if priests were the only healer and then priests get into every single group because everybody needs a healer and then the forum goes like “WELL THAT’S IMBALANCED RRRR!”
That’s basically how I’m reading the situation.
And these people would be absolutely right. It is imbalanced; it is the only option to fill an important role.

I think miss the most important part on the review.
The code isn’t even called… so it’s death code.

Nowadays I have upgraded to APL.
And not only do I know how to write decent code, I also know how to write horrible and esoteric code that will confuse anybody who looks at it.

I use Matlab because for my applications it works really well. Lots of matrix multiplications with AI and FEM.
Also a monkey (like me) can code in Matlab. APL apparently you need to be more specialized in IT for that. And im not specialized in IT. Its just that everyone nowadays needs to know how to code.
My other alternative would be Python. But I prefer Matlab because it has less community sourced things.
Im not againt it. Its just that the quality of the documentation varies wildly in Python. While in Matlab is very well explained.
I agree regarding Python. I code it in rather a lot as well, and Pandas is about to do my life in. (ironically I guess)
APL isn’t particularly hard, it’s just the symbols. Most IDE’s allow you to hold down the ctrl key to write the various operators, and they’re really rather impressive for being operators. C# and the like got nothing on this.
And they can be pretty crazy. Of course you have your typical ←+ - × ÷ * for assign plus minus multiply divide and exponent, but then you also have weird stuff like this:

A+.×B multiplies two matrices

And for the do nothing, you can use that with the dot operator above. For example x○.×y will produce a multiplication table between the elements of x and y.

I think the “trinity” is a WoW thing. The original was a “sextinity” (made up word): Tank, Healer, Damage Dealer, Buffer, Debuffer, Crowd Controller. Blizzard combined them into the 3 it has, and now they attempted to broaden it up a little to break the “monotony” of the gameplay.
Every complaint is from people who do not play the game because it’s a game, but who treat it as an e-sports competition.
