That in no way makes warriors viable. it solves some of the issues yes, and the glaring issue of Arms being utterly random and boring remains. Predicatable is different from boring and random is the last thing Arms is advertised as being. How much Rage you gain pr. hit you make is random due to Seasoned Soldier and the Tactician proc is the essence of random since there’s nothing to protect against bad luck and a 42% chance under those odds can fail to activate 100% over a span of five minutes, or it can proc endlessly from anything you do.
And mage food between pulls and slows that generally prevent them from taking damage (if they’re Frost). Mages also have several ways to prevent them from taking damage. Warriors have no such ability.
In dungeons, most things except bosses are still affected by slows. If you can stun someone you can slow them as well. A good chunk of them is just so fast that it seems like they’re immune.
“Fun” mastery from what i end up remembering ended beeing ether totaly crap or comletly borkend and usulay were change during expansions like original ret mastery
mastery that increase Overpower damage by X% woud req Overpower to do like atlest 1/3 of War total damage to be ok stat and would end up beeing a toatl garbage stat in AoE
It deoends on what the X is and how often you can use it, which should be a good deal more than now. Numbers can always be tweaked, it’s more about getting the gameplay down.
And that’s the issue. Arms require the right everything. So when they have the right everything they can wreck face. This is a sign that the foundation is badly designed. Getting gear should make a difference in that you get larger numbers never that you spec radically changes.
