Thatâs chicken and egg stuff though. Asmongold is only checking it out because so many of his followers asked him to, and his followers asked him to as theyâve been smitten by the game.
Letâs be frank, Final Fantasy 14 right now is the superior MMO to World of Warcraft. WOW has better class design due to the 1.5 second global cooldown, but in almost every other area FF14 seems to have it beat. Itâs definitely a superior RPG in that it takes the RPG bit seriously. It tells a vastly better story that engages people. And itâs content isnât ruined by unnecessary, bloated systems that everyone despises.
What we want is not for WoW to fail, but for the developers to get their noses out of the spreadsheets theyâve been glued to for the past three expansions (azerite armour! artifact power! conduits! covenants! soulbinds! tower knowledge) and rise to the challenge of an actual competitor.
They need to do better. We deserve better. We deserve a game as good as what Square Enix is putting out for itâs subscribers. Youâll know Blizz is on the right track when the devs stop responding to our complaints by implying we are approaching the systems they have designed in the wrong fashion and they start accepting responsibility for their many mistakes and acting to rectify them.

ff14 has been holding onto wows coat tails for multiple years now in sub numbers⌠was only a matter of time before they overtookâŚ
i will give you some credence, that the streams did inflate numbers and make the fact ff14 was out performing wow wider known to more people however ff14 was already out performing wow before the streamers opened their mouthsâŚ
only thing they did was spread the word and make even more people try it out which isnât a bad thing at all.

i agree⌠its why i come to the forums and voice my distrust in blizzard and how hopeless and inept they are⌠over the past few years since the start of bfaâŚ
there is only one direction wow has been heading in the past 5 years and it is downâŚ
itâs not like they havent had plenty of time to act and do something to change peoples opinions on it ⌠but the reality is they dont do anything and continue the downwards trends. over and over again completely ignoring the player bases voices on direction and enjoyment.

I agree on that wow is downhill for years, but sorry i will not belive that generic asian mmo is the top quaility now , if its then its very sad state the mmo market.
Itâs done phonetically, the letter M is pronounced âemâ so it is prefixed with âanâ as E is a vowel.

it is so much more than a asian mmo⌠it has everything wow has and better yet it even has casual content on top of that.
im not a fan of asain mmorpgs personallyâŚ
but ff14 is more western than asain.(gameplay wise) it plays very similarly to wow.
With catboys and little girls with big swords , or 1 million flashing effect in your face?
You mean gnomes, pandaâs and little foxes? 
U can turn off the flashing effects, first thing I usually do when making a new char.

There was a queue of 16 for Zodiack at 11am today, but it is worth noting the server size of FF is around 5000.
If anything, Asmongold convinced me to never return to FF14

I tried FF14. Or maybe i canât say I âtriedâ it. Itâs just so slow to me that I get bored really fast and I donât have the patience to continue. Itâs too slow for me in the beginning that I canât continue to where the game is really good.
Never ever seen his stuff and never ever will. I like ff14 for its gameplay not some stuffed up person who wants to be famous
