What are you even talking about? A dh at 100 % haste has a gcd just as long as a warrior at 100% haste, so that already is the case if you care about that sort of thing.
That doesnt mean i like that. I ask again: Do Warriors etc at 100% haste have a shorter GCD than Energy using specs?
Yes. they do. 0.75 vs 1 sec for energy classes.
In that case im utterly opposed to your idea. Makes no sense whatsoever.
What? It already is the case, i donât even know the point you are trying to make. I just want a shorter gcd.
If anything many times energy classes are actually slower, because they usually have some downtime, especially assassination for example, which is supposed to be fast and nimble.
While fury warriors instead for example, just keep using abilities, i honestly donât really care, i just want shorter gcds.
Thats a different scenario. In that case the class âplans aheadâ but then executes its plan swiftly. It makes no sense for agile classes such as rogues and cats to be slower than the rest.
On that we agree.
I wouldnât be opposed to haste also reducing the gcd for energy classes, so basically every class at 100% haste would have 0.5 sec gcd. Honestly i would prefer it, but the problem is, how strong would haste become for energy? How would they balance it?
One can only hope, and im going to play devils advocate here, that in fact Bobby is going to nag at the Blizzard team for WoW going down the drain and forces them to do a proper job.
I mean bobby is probably already fearing for his new yachts given his investors nearly refused to pay him his bonus and he only narrowly managed to get it through. Highly implying that his investors are not exactly on good terms with him right now and a not so small portion of them is having (justified) doubts about investing further.
In the end its just numbers. You can just decrease the amount a hit does while in the end the total package is still number X.
I cannot wait until Blizzard made their mind, it is gonna be awesome it is just what i can tell you ;). Machiavelli would applaud in his grave !
who is asmongold?
If FF was not that slow in terms of pace then Iâd play it.
This being said, thatâs a good thing so that Blizzard can open their eyes aboot class design and building features over the years rather than trashing them away in the bin.
Honestly yea, i feel dumb for not thinking about that since itâs a point i bring up a lot of times.
In fact i hope for Asmongold quitting for an entire tier (or perhaps til even the next xpac) as that would have an effect on WoW. A negative one. Given Asmongold is pretty much serving as their PR flagship. If only to keep the game relevant on twitch. At least for retail. Which would force Blizzard to react and do something rather than just twiddle their thumbs and expecting for people to play the game anyway and pay the sub. In the end its money thats going to get them to dance.
Right now WoW is only entertaining if you raid Mythic or a M+ pusher as that is the only thing they never screw up. Although im not entirely convinced of the new Seasonal Affix given the most recent changes to it but that is yet to observe.
He nor Bellular convinced me, the game just doesnât jive that well with me but I kinda feel bad for Final Fantasy if Asmon and his legion of⌠fans really start playing en masse.
And before anyone quotes me saying he isnât that bad, no he isnt but his fans CAN be and compared to the types of people Iâve seen that play FF so far they probably wonât mix well.
Anyway, FFs success is only good for WoW because it will force Blizzard to take action sooner or later - atleast, thatâs what Iâm hoping for.
Dont worry. Square is having a VERY itchy finger that is constantly on the bann hammer button. So if they try to be toxic or âfunnyâ as they put it then Square will just bann them away. If they deem Asmon as the source they will contact him to subdue his âarmyâ.
Square doesnt tolerate toxicity in any shape or form and act accordingly. Even too hard for my taste.
Actually, you can use dps meter.
As long as you keep the info to yourself and donât boast about it or insult others for their lack of dps.
Itâs in the grey area.
Ye. The usage is allowed. Talking about it is going to net you a bann however. Dont even have to be toxic about it. Just saying someones dps is a tad low and if he could improve it would already be enough for one to get banned. Which i find quite over the top. Always depending on context naturally.
Honestly, seeing wow players act towards lower dps players, Iâm with Square Enix on this one. Better be super strict than be like wow.
Thats beating one extreme with another. So no. As i said it depends on context. Flaming someones dps even though its totally fine for the encounter etc and all you want is to save some petty minutes in a dungeon? Ye im fine with preventing that. Calling someone out on DPS because it causes literal issues with the encounter that prevents it from being finished successfully? Im fully against banning for that as its a justified act and it depends on the tone of how it was delivered.
