anymore, why do emotes still exist and are usable, even without typing them in chat but using a menu option? And why the heck can you report someone from using an ingame emote?
You can report anyone for anything, however why someone should get ban for spamming emotions or harassing in chat?
Blizzard has no competitive healthy games and have most strictly chatting rules. I’ve remembered how people disabling voice and normal chat in Overwatch so they couldn’t get banned for typing or breathing in voice for 0.1sec. And where’s their family friendly game now? Ofc it’s not main reason game is dead, but most major reason

You are not allowed, but not getting banned for saying gg in chat. Or pointing someone on their mistakes, even you can flame teammates for their mistakes

You are not allowed to harass in LoL though.
They seem to have a certain line but if you get enough reports you are bound to get some kind of suspension/warning for it.
At LoL you can demoralise and tilt ur enemies thru in game emotes . About harassment: As long as u avoid certain words and phrases u are ok. However if a player gets constantly reported for harassment and abusive language , an investigation is initiated and then comes the result.
In e-sports tournament pro players flame each other in game chat and nobody cares, everybody make laugh of them. Everybody types gg ez in the end of the game. Nobody think it toxic or some kind of extreme harassment. In wow you can be banned from mcdonalds 1 time dinner tournament forever for saying something “not good”

What do you see as harassment? Do you believe what everyone says they got banned for or can there be another reason?
Yea, but its not rly “spit” emotes or something alike that I remember though. There is a reason why LoL is being called one of the most toxic games.
It has the same kind of mentality which alot of WoW players have aswell and one of them is: “Always blame someone else, I always play perfectly.”
It means they have a fine line they allow but if you go further something can happen.
WoW players are just mad they cant do the extreme instantly and when they get suspended they go pikachu face and say “I only said gg ez”.
Depends what that “not good” is. If they have a rule down and ppl break it, dont expect to not be punished.

Harassment is also often in the eye of the beholder. There is no precise definition of harassment and the boundary is fluid.

The way i type now is offending to a lot of people yet i mean no harm
and call it a language barrier.
This happens in chat as well, people are and or get offended so easily.
With the world we live in now a lot more is taken as being offensive.
So yes, saying : “dumb mage why didnt u iceblock” can get u silenced for a
certain time at least.

Playing against Taz the last couple of hours.
I asked in chat to report him, as suggested in the most premade topics.
Nothing more happened, but thats my word against yours then if u believe that or not
I got a heap of people in chat defending the bg premades.
2 hours later i got a warning on my account cause my recent behaviour was not in line bla bla.
So yeah, no… it happens !
Its more that they get booted and silenced at first while a GM reviews it and the GM can decide if additional punishment is needed or remove the silence. Atleast how I understand it. The email is just explaining why hes currently silenced.

No. I just tend to not take what ppl say to their defense as “facts” while its been proved quite often that its more than just that single word they said. Ive read way too many ppl who just outright lie.
You are full aware that sync premades abuse the report system every now and then right? Them and their friends dont like it when you ask ppl to report someone.
Telling others to report someone can also be seen as instigating mass reports even if its what they deserve.
So if you got banned or silenced because of it I do feel sorry for you.
If its just a warning id just stop tell ppl to report and just do it silently.
I am not defending blizz though, just saying.
Its just that ppl are rarely honest with reasons they get suspended.
Blizzard successfully created an MMO, where ppl arent allowed to interact with other ppl.
Crazy thing is people are still complaining/playing this game.
Take a break, like seriously. It’s not worth getting frustrated over this clown fiesta of a game every week.
