This isn’t a new concept in wow. The undead have been in the game since before vanilla and plagues are in the lore; Death Knights use plagues as weapons.

If everyone had to avoid subjects related to situations where people have died then I think all we’d have left is to just be stood in a bare room.

Then again, that would probably be disrespectful to people that died alone in a room

The Scourge Invasion is historically one of the most iconic events in World of Warcraft history (much like the burning of Teldrassil). I have very fond memories of being a Zombie back during Wotlk pre-patch.

I am VERY much looking forward to spending the week as a Zombie.
