wow pvp was the best at the beginning.
it had nothing to do with fairness. but there was a lot of action and fun. players who were constantly ganked organized themselves and formed teams. and thus made the quests. that was very good for the community.
in addition, hunters were also real hunters. I can remember very well when I hunted horde in the forest with a low lvl hunter for months… That was awesome!
what the devs would have done:
abolished unfairness with too good armor.
areas only have a certain lvl range like -2 and +2. otherwise pvp mode is off. high lvl players cannot support players with pvp enabled!
very good REWARD for kills.
but since the devs COMPLETELY ignored feedback, it came as it is.
maybe they are too stupid or can’t read. But to be honest, I don’t really care.
I agree here , players pvp outworld was interesting and entertaining , i remember some brawls (before sharding ) in strangleton vale .
The question remains why would they make fun pvp when still the numbers of pvp-ers is low ? My only guess is the devs don’t think it’s profitable or it can bring players back .
world pvp is just unbalanced crap which makes even more unbalanced bcs losing side just gives up and even less ppl are there … and world pvp is more about that side who have more ppl will win … so only place where is fair and square … and there are coming ppl who want to play pvp … but in world pvp it was like ppl who dont even want to fight was forced to fight and even this is why lot servers in wow u have that they have only horde or only alliance , and i know there is few more reasons but that is main reason
simply world pvp is just boring thing and it is waste of time … only when factions will be same size than will be acceptable or just giving faction which have less ppl and is killed more that they have buff in world pvp … something like that they take less dmg from other faction … and that buff is scaled automatic
