I cant tell if this is a troll,bait or raw about of naivety post . If IP banning bots was that simple then why hasnt this outcome worked for Games like OSRS where they actively have Jmods ban 1000s of bots a day. Or for Lost ark where bots are fully f2p and ruin their playerbase population. Since quite frankly 1 and done soloutions dont work for bots. Blizzard needs to heavily develop a new anti cheat system if anything for wow

Not really necessary to develop a new system, just have a few gm’s running around on different servers checking the hot-spots for bots (hehe). That alone is a good start, until they can figure out a more permanent solution. Just do something!
But they wont deal with the bots or RMT, simply because it generates profit for them. The whole bot/rmt is against ToS is simply a PR-stunt at this point i feel like.

In a ideal world Gms would be the play but with how Blizzard is with managing their workers I personally wouldn’t want anyone to suffer like that. Including the fact powers such as GM are too much for a random employee to have due to corruption, as we saw in countless private servers Gms abusing their privilege’s to benefit themselves and in classic a GM unbanning people who were subbed to his favorite streamer and banning someone on a whim for getting said streamer angry. Proper Anti cheat is the safest play with the least possibility of problems and the most easy to manage.
