There are some hunters trying to justify it somehow, very strange. But it is in fact very broken, without bestial wrath pets hit very fast for 400+ crits nonstop. It needs a nerf ASAP. It’s like pet damage got buffed by about +500%, it must have been an error that needs corrected.
show me a video of those very fast 400 crits without bestial wrath up. as im very well geared, and BM, and my pretty slow pet doesnt usually crit 400 with no buffs.
also realize there is no pet. the pet is a mirage. there is a hunter, in two parts. thats how this works. now do cc.
Please, don’t take numbers out of your buttocks. They are entirely false and inflated.
Hunter pets die in seconds in group PvP. They are not what they were. They probably even need a buff (for BM, not hunter in general) but that’s another question.
A BM hunter in PvP is gimped even with BW. Survival or a combination between MM and Survival is much better for PvP as it allows the hunter to deal with groups and melees better. The new trinket is also a nerf to hunter as Freezing Trap was not dispellable before without immunities or external help.
Hunters were always effective against casters though.
Im all in for pet nerfs if they remove deadzone
BM hunters are at the bottom of dps meters only surpassing frost mages. So if anything they should buff the damage to the same level as warlocks. In fact bm hunters are surpassed by tank warlocks in dps.
What is your thoughts about this?

The only fun BM-hunters atm have is running to Gnomer, put the pet on mad, make it big&red and go for a rampage for a few seconds.
Even at my legendary logs (96, 98 and 97) i only pumped 10 to 15 percent more DPS than the tank. Our enhancer was over 73 percent in front. And shamans are a hybrid class, fulfilling the roles of melee DPS, ranged DPS, healer and tank.
So by the grace of god, stop whining about hunters and their pets once and for all.

Top DPS ? I don’t think so. Even if we are talking about melee it is now in the middle of the pack
u mean MM hunters. BMmelee is the PvE spec we all use, as its all thats left after latest nerfs - MM needs SEVERE buffs. but thats been the case since SoD launch +1 week.
I would rather get twatted by a Chimera Shot than Meleehunter/BM pressing 1 button respectively.

OP, this is just a skill issue.
Hunter pets are weak like a wet noodle and will die if you look at them.
There is only one viable hunter spec atm and it’s BM melee but even then the pet only do between 1/4 to 1/3 of the total damage. If you die to a pet alone you are doing something seriously wrong.
say the same to a BW’d pet, I’ll wait.
