^^ You had me worried for a moment. I went back and read through the forum rules and the Code of Conduct. While they do ask users to avoid things like spam and double-posting, I didn’t find anything that explicitly prohibits speculation. If that were the case, the RP and lore forums would be in serious trouble—half the fun over there is theory crafting and story speculation!

I didn’t play Legion when current, so I’m looking forward to it. I quite enjoyed the MoP Remix aswell

Interesting, I’ve read the CoC 3 times now and nowhere does it state that. Care to provide a link to that rule? Or a screenshot or something? Since I obviously can’t read.
Many times throughout the history of World of Warcraft, there have been items, titles, and other kinds of rewards that belong in a category of the most prestigious and historic accomplishments—rewards that we believe should be preserved in a historical context for only those players who earned them at the time. Examples that come to mind for many players include Corrupted Ashbringer and the Mists of Pandaria Challenge Mode items. Players who obtained these rewards also maintain a sense of achievement in possessing them to this day.
As we’ve explored the full list of all rewards that players could earn when Legion was current content, we’ve determined that some fit the description above, and will not be obtainable in Legion Remix:
- Mage Tower Artifact appearances
- Artifact weapon appearances from PvP
- Seasonal PvP gear
These exceptions represent a very limited subset of skill-intensive, limited-time rewards that we feel are consistent with the precedent set in Pandaria Remix.
In Legion Remix, players will have access to even more total rewards than Pandaria Remix offered, including some previously-retired rewards, like the Mythic Chosen Dead ensembles, the Violet Spellwing, and gear from the Legion pre-launch event. There are also going to be many all-new items and previously unavailable color variants of Legion rewards.

everyone was able to obtain the magetower skins with argus Gear, so the accomplishemt was having a active subscription at that time

ohh come on, this was the most bossted contet ever, each PvE player buys PvP sets end of Seaons and u outscaled magetower with argus gear so much that it wasn’t even a challange anymore.
RIP to anyone that wanted some of the best Weapon mog Blizzard ever made

I literally did it for my wife with both holy and disc priest because she struggled with it for some reason.
I never played priest or healer and I did it first time.
So either these skill intensive content was incredible easy at the end or I am some hidden genius pro priest player.
What’s more likely?

It was not hard to achieve if you wanted to get it. The “challenge” was actually just getting the catchup gear on the char, learning the basics of the rotation, and getting 5-10 tries in order to do each fight.
Apart from prestigious they also said historic, so they want them to keep as rewards for the players that did them when they decided to retire them. It is more of not going back on what they said.
I am just hoping that in those “mage tower artifact appearances” recolors are not included, and we might see some recolors or redesigns based on those appearances.

i started playing in Legion and was bad in doing dmg at Antorus Tier I got kicked out of normal raids, still was able 2 do botrh dk dps specs in magetower without even knowing what my buttons did on frost or unholy
Was there MOP challenge mode sets in Pandaria remix? No.

This is a great response, and just what people need to hear from a Blizzard employee.
I genuinely would love for there to me more items like this in WoW.
I don’t just mean M+ and PVP Seasonal Rewards.
I mean something that truly feels Unique to each expansion, available only for the duration of the expansion.
People wouldn’t moan about missing MT appearances, if they could earn appearances which fitted TWW themes, and that really should be the case.

I really do hope there are some Nightborne themed cosmetics like it was with the Pandaren themed ones Kaivax 
While PVP i can agree with requiring much skill, the mage tower artifact appeareances didn’t require much skill after the patch for Antorus came out. The artifact appeareances were at their easiest time to obtain, and required far less skill than the modern iteration of it.
it is very much a shame that those appeareances will not make a return, although, i must say, it is a bit weird that you refuse to include them.
Seasonal PVP gear wasn’t all restricted in Pandaria Remix, as one of the sets available, the season 12 èlitè set for priests, the malevoment gladiator’s satin armor in that tint was available to be taken… why was that so? Something both time-limited and requiring much skill able to be taken for the same amount of currency as any set?
I’m not to attack you, Kaivax, of course. you’re just doing your job to refer to us the decisions of the team. i am just confused a bit by all this, and a bit disapointed as a player, but i digress.

Well it was expected.
Welp that killed the hype for Legion Remix. I was looking forward to my friends being able to get those Mage tower skins that haven’t been available for ages. I don’t understand why things need to be so Exclusive. Just let people earn the things they want, it’s 2025 and us that got the skins in the past have had our time with them, time to let others also enjoy. So many good looking druid skins locked behind having done mage tower in Legion, I personally have them, but my friends that started playing recently, some weren’t even old enough to play video games at the time. Welp, I hope you’re bringing something else that can get the hype back cause MoP Remix wasn’t even fun with how grindy it was if you wanted all the stuff (for those that didn’t exploit early), removing the really exciting rewards makes it sound like Legion Remix will be just as bad and grindy.

What I wonder is why the AoTC mount from Siege of Orgrimmar wasn’t added back then, if the same kind of mount from Antorus is being added now. Apparently, some FOMO is good and some is not, even in the same category… exactly the kind of standards this game is known for.
