^^ Because even though it might be recycled content, its can still be fun… Plus I’ve not really been enjoying TWW much, so I look forward to remix and time-walking events.
Cut content is a fair point, but it’s sort of a you don’t know what you missed because it never existed. Selfie cam patch was a mid-tier patch that offered very little, twitter integration, probably just a bad naming choice to call it 6.1, hilariously bad all the same. Dailies had taken a bad rep in MOP due to the sheer amount of them, it was a choice to cut down on them I think, and world quests weren’t added until Legion, stolen from Diablo 3.
The no flying thing was a big discussion at the time but the majority of commenters were in support of the change, it wasn’t even by popular demand that it was re-added because the community was split, but more by extention of it being a heated topic that never died down.
As for proving grounds, you had to beat silver in your role, it took 5 minutes and was extremely easy, by example tanks and healers were able to beat the silver damage challenge with relative ease too, despite not being a dps role/spec, it wasn’t a big topic of discussion for WOD. WOD lost players largely by default of it having such a ridiculous hype train that it brought back millions of players on launch, hitting peak sub numbers at the time, it was never holding all those players even if it had been good.
I wasn’t a raider until Hellfire Citadel came out and didn’t feel like I missed out.
Also WoD broke the sales record so I think it’s forgiving that it lost 3 million players.
Arguably ever since Legion the sub numbers have decreased steadily. WoD was successful for what it had and it deserved better.

Might have sold lots but losing over 3million then stopping saying how many subs per quarter is not a good thing.

WoD was successful for what it had and it deserved better.
i think at this point and i hate to say it you are trolling, it is not a success when you lose so many players so early.

Arguably ever since Legion the sub numbers have decreased steadily
players get older , taste change this is reality. work/uni/partnerships etc etc people change.
Also that is not 100% truthful on hype SL was the fastest ever selling expac even beating wotlk not for numbers ofc but the pace of the sales.

I never said it was a bad thing myself i no idea why you are down talking to me i just said people didnt like which was a fact.
Fair enough it’s just depressing to me. Instead of focusing on fixing and improving the current state of retail

WoD was a major step down from Pandaria, but it was, in many ways, way better than what we have now.
I am not trolling, this is an honest opinion.
You compare class design and balance, PvP, questing and storytelling, all that matters for me.
Currently WoW lacks in all these departments. It is carried by m+ spammers and raiders.
WoD was last expansion i played before I departed from the scene. I wasn’t interested in Legion at all.
I mean im back now in TWW but all im doing is complaining about something. The landscape has changed for the worse in almost all aspects

all that matters for me.
For you maybe but you do not speak for the masses that left the game or for me who suffered through it as i liked my guild. Only good part about it was mission table making me 14million.
Ok my guy, appologies, I didn’t mean to trigger you.

Ok my guy, appologies, I didn’t mean to trigger you.
Not triggered at all and thats a very immature and very out dated way to insult somebody whos views do not match yours
I like dealing in facts an expansion can not be a success if it losses a 3rd of its player base in 3months.
Cuts content, cuts gear for casuals, content drought for 12+ months, Legion was better for many in all ways. If you can not debate in a civil tone then do not bother thanks.
It is not your opinion but rather your aggressive tone that tells me you are triggered.
You can hate WoD and you are entitled to your opinion, but telling me i speak for the masses when there’s people here, even in this thread, that agree with me, tells me you are speaking for the masses.
We can agree to disagree and move on.

It is not your opinion but rather your aggressive tone that tells me you are triggered.
You are going on ignore i asked you to be civil and not use words like that but you did it anyways shows how disrepectful you are.

We can agree to disagree and move on.
Facts do not lie playerbase leaving is not a success no matter how you try to sugar coat it.

I doubt very many will agree with you that WoD was good but have a great night i will not see or reply to you again
Dont forget the elephant in the room unwanted recyled content…
The recycled content people want its a nono
Wise man once said you think you do but you dont
Am I hyped to replay the fan service expansion?
not really.
Am I hyped to collect new transmog and some old ones I missed and cannot be bothered to farm in retail

I just found out about these armor sets
We trasmog collectors will be eating well

The question that arises here is: Who are the rules being made for? Aren’t the players the ones who are supposed to enjoy the game? Certainly, 90% of all players, if not more, are disappointed and frustrated that the Mage Tower rewards are no longer available. Even many of those who received them back then don’t like this gatekeeping. To me, it’s nothing more than proof that Blizzard isn’t in touch with the players and is using match games to suggest: No, we’re the big corporation, it’s our game, our rules, which we consider more important than making all the players happy. Personally, I find it particularly unfortunate because, even apart from the items, I’d actually be happy if WoW could get a bigger community and happy players again, like it did at launch. But this wish is being pushed completely into the background precisely because of this, in my opinion, completely wrong attitude. This feeling of being condescending and not being understood with empathy is really making me think I should quit WoW right now. The dark veil of ignorance surrounding so many players is very present. Honestly, I don’t care how much new stuff is implemented if so many players are ignored. Above all, there isn’t even a compromise to approach the players… it’s a do-or-die mentality.
It hurts the most for the druids, because the magetower cat form is so much more than just a weapon transmog, and it is by far the best cat form in the game!!
I hope for Legion Classic.
Yeah those sets are , I wonder what doing a key on +25 is gonna be like though

I wonder what doing a key on +25 is gonna be like though
Well 25’s were not that high back them so should be easy for everyone now.

25’s were not that high back them
Probably just like a weekly 10 for now, and with their power system and infinite leveling, in the end of legion remix , it would probably be soloable by some busted tank. So nothing to fear
