It doesn’t fit with your next words when you just say all activities that give you renown🥹 I did only PvP activities before while playing on regular basis and got 1-3 renown maximum on not main character (I didn’t do many quests on alt)
Yeah I’ve been doing everything since the start with no farming and my renowns don’t look anything like that. Most are between 17 and 21. So I suspect there is some amount of farming involved with having everyting around 20 to 25.
Thats not farming tho’
Farming is doing 0-24 Obsidian key farming
Or Tuskar communiti event in every 3.5 hours and between then, Lunker team
Or following the Centaur hunting parties
What she was doing are the main activities of the expansion: world quests, quests and outworld activities.
PvP is a side, activity. From what I have seen the only instanced side activity that gives a bit of rep are raids, in the form of tradable currency drops. You get one token per boss kill per week, but I do not know yet how much actually because, I have been saving them up for DMF.
Farming means doing the hunts from start to finish for a measly 15 rep per task for example.
Im sorry to hear dragon riding causes you motion sickness, its one of the best addition of this expac and im enjoying every second of it.
Hope you find something alternative or they actually get a solution for issues like you’re facing.
I think Im probably where you would be if you did minimal farming (meaning ‘most’ WQs, loremaster and all the weeklies just once, or 3x for hunt). Im on 16-17 across all reps.
Clearly the concept of farming is like the concept of casual tho…it means different things to different people!
Friends are mostly loving it. I tend to avoid games that give me motion sickness.
I am looking forward to regular flying being released. I’d rather go slow than feel sick. They should also let people dragon fly in the older expansions.
I did presume everyone understood motion sickness. It’s not uncommon in gaming or actual travel IRL.
I tend to not play games if they make me sick because I game for fun. I have thought about taking a break from WoW until regular flying is brought in but I’m really enjoying most aspects.
I have some great friends who carry me around but it feels bad to need to be flown around. I can only do the Nok dungeon with friends and they carry me round as a whelp
Well, I never experienced motion sickness (and I believe I am not even physically able to do so), but yeah. I can see that this must suck for you.
The closest I can probably refer to with such an experience is being drunk. I was it once while friends and I did a drinking game in Destiny 2. Remarkably is that they kept more and more missing while I became more and more precise the more I got drunk (I recorded the gameplay and checked it).
Hope Blizzard can find a solution for motion sickness and players like you.
