I have a shameful confession to make

I think T&E videos are mostly not bad. Taliesin is a good performer and content creator.

However his live streams where he’s more himself show what kind of a person he is. A deeply insecure, hateful and angry man hiding behind a persona of a nice and cheerful guy. He honestly gives me the creeps with how incredibly condescending he is while hiding behind the fake laughs and permanent smiles whenever he’s not in his “T&E weekly reset” character.

At leasts She isn’t sniperwolf

The only wow videos I watch are from hazel or soul breezy.

I liked Sniper Wolf. Was certainly much cooler than Vulcan Raven and Psycho Mantis.

she´s family friendly with her “oh wow the guy jumped over the car and landed on the floor!”

Just when you think someone can’t sink any lower :joy:

You do you man!

You don’t have to watch any of his streams to know this, I have known for years that I didn’t like something about him, I don’t like two faced people.

His Youtube videos are like those American Dentist commercials with the people constantly smiling with bright white teeth… ugh.

No. You can see he’s fake in his videos, but you wouldn’t expect how rude and vicious he can actually be, and how consistently that happens too.

Ehh, maybe have some people knowledge and you’ll see straight through the facade.

Anyone remember Project Lore?
Those were the first WoW youtubes I watched back in days of yore.
I saw them doing Utgarde Keep during Wrath Beta.

Me too.

Though he’s much more raw in live streams and that sometimes makes me feel a bit icky. But the youtube videos are entertaining.

I don’t get the appeal of streams honestly. Even for people I like, they rarely manage to remain entertaining for several hours.
I can’t see myself choosing to watch a stream over doing literally anything else with my time.

I completely agree. I don’t really watch any streams, but sometimes T&E post snippets from a stream on YT. That’s how I know.

I do ‘put on’ streams for the ingame rewards, but sound is off and I reduce the size of the browser to that of a stamp basically and put the quality on the lowest setting. I then continue to let it run in the corner of my second stream while not paying attention to it.

I do this because I found that just opening a stream in a tab and tabbing to something else, does not work when trying to earn the reward.

I just let a stream play on my computer while I leave home and go to work, it’s even less effort.

You leave your pc for more than four hours?!
ARE YOU A WIZARD?!

Belltard is critical? I mean maybe in comparison to psycho shills like Taliesin…but cmon.

Bellular has 2 modes

  1. Is always excited and surprised and says great stuff about upcoming stuff during Alphas and Betas.

  2. When everyone else gets mad at Blizz, he puts out a video “what were they thinking” or “is this the end for blizzard” or some crap like that or some pseudo-CSI / data analyst video.

It’s very obvious to me Bell is struggling to pump out content, he’s doing it in a similar way a PR / SEO agency does but is not as effective.

People like these 2 kinda soured me towards following any youtuber for wow-related news for quite a while now and I think they are poison for the community.

I would add Nixxiom and Asmongold to the ban list too. Nixxiom was funny when he was doing machinima stuff, now it’s like he’s the Vice Media of Warcraft… or Tik Tok Craft, and I’m not even get into Asmongold.

I checked out some MrGM videos, he seems nice but haven’t watched enough to have an actual opinion.

I just watch lore-stuff now from Nobbel, and check out patch notes.

can we agree that Josh Strife is a true gentleman?

There are barely any WoW content creators that are concise without making their opinion way more important than it is.

Perhaps the only one I can think of is Hazelnuttygames, but there is something grating about their voice, that I can’t listen to it for longer periods of times either.

StarCraft II has much better content creators.

I want PiG and Harstem on Azeroth.

Exactly. It’s like Taliesin needs to carefully plan out how to be nice. If he speaks from the hips things turn out quite differently.

Even then, the nasty side comes out in the videos, albeit rarely.

He hasn’t really done anything to me that I’m aware of so I don’t mind him. Just don’t watch anymore.
