Thrall was the first hero I met while playing the Warcraft III tutorial. I hope he will outlive all the OG heroes. He can just retire to the position of Honorable Warchief and starts quests that tell us something about the history of the Horde.

I hope nobody dies this time. There have been enough death and darkness allready on previous expansions.
Besides Thrall will unite the people of Azeroth to work towards common good. Rejoice!
In any case, he has been the first character that i ever got to like in Warcraft back in WC3 along with Arthas. I had hoped Arthas would have been saved somehow but thats gone now. I hope Thrall will outlive anything there is.

well honestly it’s Metzen he has plot armor beyond any character in wow you could place thrall at the dead center of a mana bomb and he’d somewhow make it out 
If Thrall dies, then the next writer that gets hired will go “OH YOU LIKE THAT?!” and start killing every single legacy character, and then the ones that come after too like it was Disney Star Wars.
It’ll become a god damn domino effect.

Why would you want a hero to die? Are you messed up in your mind?!
Thrall has been the hero of all horde for many many years, almost like a 2nd coming of christ but in azeroth terms. Without him we would have not defeating deathwing or sent the disgustingly racist bully Garrosh to the shadow realm once and for all! Azeroth stands together as ONE, forever and always.
Only the bad people should die in wow.

I’d actually very much appreciate if we could for once have an expansion where no beloved character is dying. That being said, keep your hands off my commander in chief Malfurion, Blizzard.

No beloved character died in Shadowlands.
You know, Shadowlands, the “death” expansion.
The lore is a joke.
Ursoc’s soul was basically erased from existence in the Ardenweald trailer already. Ara’lon, keeper of the grove of Tirna Noch seen in the same trailer, died too. Rezan, LOA OF KINGS, tortured to death in the maw.
You clearly didn’t play the Night Fae campaign… We even had a Fae sacrificing her life to become - a vessel - for Bastion. And you could argue that killing off Devos was also erasing a character a lot of players would’ve loved to be redeemed.
These are irrelevant side characters.
I’m talking about real characters here.

No. These characters are “one expansion, irrelevant side characters”. They legit are.
I’m talking about killing major characters: faction leaders, Khadgar, Jaina, Thrall, that type of stuff.

Well, I wasn’t. I was talking about beloved characters. Which doesn’t necessarily equal main characters, so not my problem if you got that wrong.
