If there was no downsize, it would be like fighting something the size of a city with tentacles each being about 7 city blocks wide and who knows how many city blocks long. Physically even the best tank in Azeroth world would get flattened by that lol. I don’t think the game could support making a boss an entire size of a zone, hm.
It would be hard to use as a fight, nzoth might be the weakest old god but the old gods body are basicly the size of continents. Just look at yogg saron and where his blood manifested, or how every corner of of pandaria was under the sha influence.
Do you really think it would make sense to make players the size of titans. I can see the next expansion happening. Several cities are destroyed the next expansion because the players walked over it during the nzoth fight
But at the same time its weird that a free old god is not that big
