I remember the name of an item from vanilla

Nah, Just more memorable

Old computers also weighted a crap ton more XD

Voodoo 3 was best for its time, Glide was great XD

When I first came across this thread, I really wanted to disagree with it, but I couldn’t find an argument to do so so I had to, grudgingly, agree. But now I have found one.

The Inscrutable Quantum Device. It’s a trinket from DOS that, when I first heard about it and read what it does, I really wanted it. Now of course it could be argued that that can be said about many items and that’s right. But the Inscrutable Quantum Device is the first item that I remember the name of since Cataclysm, and that I find myself daydreaming of getting.

The Inscrutable Quantum Device is a memorable piece of gear from modern WoW. So now I can say that age and nostalgia isn’t the reason why gear used to be memorable, but isn’t anymore.

(Sorry for a bit of a necro)
