Use to pull all-nighters on and off back in 2011-12 and that was good times now though not so much got too old and have work and life to contend with as well so sleep and my bed are far more important to me now. All I would say is do not overdo it this comes from someone who once pulled a 48hr play session with small breaks for food and other things.

The thing was I then slept a full 23hrs when I crashed and regretted it because I had a massive headache on waking up. Oh and nice one having the patience to level up a gnome too not a huge fan of them but respect people who play them well.

Yes!

You could have gotten so much rested xp both irl & in game! ;

Aaah the old days of having the energy to play all night long.

Such hyperfocus can rarely come for us, enjoy it whilst it lasts. Try to remember to eat and stuff!

So you stayed up all night to level to 48 instead of working 1 hour to buy a level boost? Genius.

I stayed up all night other other night watching The Witcher on Netflix.

The genius with how rocky the economy is these days is that the OP saved money rather than burning it.

Just drive people around in an Uber or cut your neighbours lawn and you will make enough money faster than the 8 hours he stayed up. Are you really trying to tell me you cannot make £20 in 8 hours somehow?

Well i cant say the S word so, :slight_smile:

Oh the suggestions I could come up with, all of which would get me banned…

They couldn’t have instantly become an Uber driver and made £20, the world doesn’t work that quickly. Also a character boost is £49 which to me is a waste of good money regardless of how rich/poor someone is. To me its better to save the money and exercise a little patience rather than just throw it at boosting a character that you might not even end up playing.

I’m not telling you that people can’t make the money to pay for a boost, this is something you’ve made up in your head for some strange reason. :man_facepalming:

If you enjoy it, and not risking your health I see no reason. I tend to do all nighters on the rare occasion when I have nothing to do the following day, and I’m enjoying what I’m doing.

Although as I’ve gotten older I find it’s harder for me to stay awake without feeling like I’m going to die past midnight lol

It makes absolutely no sense to spend 16 hours to level up a character to 60 instead of making £49 in a few hours. Playing WoW is the dumbest thing you can do. Even raiding for CE is braindead. When you add together all the raid hours you have to spend in a season to obtain CE it is cheaper to just do overtime or get another job and buy the CE achievement instead. Why raid 8-12 hours a week for CE when you can get a part-time job and buy CE boost a lot faster?
And please don’t say “fun” because most CE guilds stop raiding after they get CE. People hate playing this game and just play it for FOMO achievements. Everyone starts popping wine bottles when they are told they no longer need to log in.
