The system may change in the future but we don’t know yet. Whilst pathfinder will be there for current content, they are changing how we level for Shadowlands, with that they said it was yet to be determined how they would handle flying.
There are players who didn’t play during the older Pathfinder expansions and haven’t deemed going back something they want to spend time on.
I hope that they will allow flying in older expansions but if people want the actual pathfinder rewards (mounts) then they’ll have to go do the steps required. I guess we will see what they decide as and when we get more information.

After getting back from your work that starts at 8:15 am on Monday, are you looking for a tiring grind, a second job at home, or doing things you actually enjoy in the game?
I am not a fan of pathfinder either but only because they artificially prolong the questline and not give it fully straight from the start. I would have no problem with pathfinder if it was fully grindable from the very start.
Why would I need to deal with it though, as it’s only been like that for the past few expansions?
People unanimously agree that this is a boring grind anyway:
dont have draenor flying and will not have it until they change the requirements.
i am not going back to content, that i didn’t like in the first place to play it AGAIN while it is also outdated.
I agree its boring like i said pathfinder would not be such a large problem if you could do it from the get go and not wait for over a year for it.
Also because of the gold inflation in the game the price for flying would not be 5k gold anymore it would be in hundreds of thousands or more because blizzard screwed the economy of the game with free gold from mission table phone game.
If you want to pay millions of gold just for flying then fine but i would rather just do quests for couple of days.

Oh. And yes I DO have a second job which does eat into my time and yet I gave gotten pathfinder ever since it was a thing.

As far as i know there are no magical rings in the sky that gives you a transmogs if you fly through them and how exactly does flying give you a pve stuff anyway to be competitive in pvp.
Not true, i dunno what you guys think but gold making in bfa is not as easy as it was legin and wod, you still get more money then older expansions but nowhere near those 2 expansions, the price would be way below a single hundred thousand lol.
Because you’re a PvE player. Grinding reps is part of what you do in the game ANYWAY.
God I wish Pathfinder had a “play 150 arena matches” requirement just to mock you guys too when it’d be your turn to come and complain you’re forced to partake in activities you don’t enjoy and were never forced to do before.
Judging by the AH prices people still has to have millions of gold from previous expansions or people just buy tokens because i doubt anyone who didn’t make millions of gold from wod/legion buys stuff that’s on AH otherwise.
Didnt fly in Draenor, didnt really play legion. I fly in BFA ONLY because im forced in to PvE Bullsh"t instead of having some nice system like vendors for PvP you know to CHOOSE what you wanna get etc…

Why do every1 think that pve players enjoy doing same few stupid quests over and over again on daily basis till exalted? It has nothing to do with bein pve player realy, u either wanna do it for flying or no, doesnt matter if u pvp, pve, rp, just colect or whatever…
But yea this timegated numb grind locked flying is dumb. But still if i play expansion i finish it… For reasons
