Val’kyr have better female models. I win 
Zandalari boomkin form made me wish for playable WoD arakkoa. Heck, I’d take BC arakkoa too. I love birds. And I love snakes so I’ve been in Team Playable Sethrak since BFA.

Story and class content in legion was good, yes.
Artifact weapon and legiondaries, core gameplay systems, were absolute 
, and as a result of the powermad mim-max playerbase so was early raiding, M+, and even moreso any attempt to even think about playing alts or a second spec. Even after the later changes, Legion wasn´t a fully fleshed out expansion until 7.3.
A lot of players loved it for the Order halls /class campaigns, and I´m right there with them, that whas where legion really shined.
But if legion in teh 7.0 version were to be released today, or even during BFA /Sl era, it would be a deathstroke to the game because it would be clear that the developers have completely lost the plot and aren´t even trying to make a reasonably cunctioning game anymore. And thats why I think a lot of people are going to in for a very rude awakening in Legion remix if many of Legion’s core systems (esp artifact weapon and legiondaries) aren´t completely removed and /or massively reworked.
Its been so long ago I dont remember much of the artifact system other than what I used on affli/arms/assa which I raid with. I actually use alot of things from legion to think of it, even all druid skins are from there. So all my tmogs, wpn skins are artifacts, class titles, mounts, druid skins. Also all of the hidden artifact skins were cool, would also use mage tower things, but I’m using sets from the newer mage tower currently.
I dont play anything else than retail, ever. Played classic once and did bwl and took my tier for mage and went farm honor and figured if I need 1 mil honor week just to gain r12 there it’s not worth it, I were r14 high warlord in vanil on rogue with 300-400k honor per week. Classic is just complete different game now, its all figured out and minmaxed. Ppl were doing mc raid with full world buffs and flasks and telling me that I should attend raid with flask too, which made no sense to me and I answer them that you dont need flask or any buffs to complete molten core. I am not playing these classics nor will I go backwards in wow, I will go forwards with the retail. My opinional take would be that they should actually remove all these other expansions as some are gaining more tuning than retail pvp. But they obviously wont delete them.
It´s been a while, but it´s it’s recent enough for many of us to remember how any activity we did on our alts was power gain we could have gotten on our main… No expansion disincentivised higher end players from playing alts as much as Legion did, before or after… don´t even get me started on rerolling the same class 7x just to get semi-decent legendaries, nothing unnecessary or grindy about that at all…
Now, was this something we “had” to do? No, just like nobody needs 670+ gear to raid current heroic… But as soon as you start pugging, or progressing with an actual high end group, these do become must dos… don´t have your ap maxed out? No invite. Don´t have 2 good preferably bis legendaries, but only 1 even if it is turbo BiS? No invite… and so on and so forth. Just like people today are checking to see if people have the belt and kicking them from nhc runs if they don´t, even if they´re 670 and obviously only there for teh luls and maybe some mog… I stopped pugging myself long ago, but I have no reason to believe that all of my friends that still do are all lying, because together with the ever growing toxicity these things are very high on teh list of why I stopped pugging and recommend to anyone who values their sanity to not even start but find a decent guild or comm.
Again, class content was top notch, and the systems looked great on paper, but in practice it was a steaming pile of on release, and continued to be well into the ToS tier…
I loved affli design. Drain life baked in together with drain soul were perfection. They should make that back.
