I want to buy lvl 70 with full bis gear

Thats true, most people do. Well i want to not play tbc content, just the ultra late game. I understand that its a much bigger time investment than just 58 with mount, but thats why im willing to pay a lot more for it.

Fine by me. Old content is old. We even got a dedicated server for that content with classic era.

Anti-boosts really grasping at straws now with these weaksauce baits, arent they?

ikr, let people play the way they want.

yawn 10 char

i honestly cant tell who’s trolling and who isn’t now

I don’t know. But I’m totally sold to Westerlund’s great arguments. I think we should increase the exp needed for each level by times 5. To really enjoy the leveling experience. And when you hit level 70. You get put back to level 1 and have to do it all over again for a second time.

Oh and we start with everyone reset so everyone gets to do it.

reset level, but keep the stats

Ikr lol, it’s ok to skip leveling if you hate it according to forums, why not raiding then too

You can do this, with in-game gold. All you have to do is enter GDKP raids, and buy your gear. Easy!

and how would you gain the absolute insane amounts of gold to reliably do that?
lets say buying gold online is not an option, then how am i suppose to do this according to you?

i was in my first gbid nax run yesterday, and lets just say people were overly generous with the amounts of gold they were willing to offer for the items they wanted.
meanwhile i was sitting there with my puny 5k gold in total earned from hard work and tedious farming + AH sales, and about 3-4 bids in i would already have to throw in the towel as i could not afford to bid higher, and after those 3-4 bids people would keep going until an item was absurdly expensive, for example the phalactory from KT sold for 5.6k or something along those lines, and certain weapons/rings/trinkets easily went above 8k gold.

so i repeat; how would this be an option again, assuming cheating wasn’t an option?

whats even funnier is by the end, someone called the pot of 1791g per raider “decent” as in “mediocre”… that’s basically half of my total gold and some people thought it wasn’t really that much. which gives you an idea of just how much gold they are sitting on, and also implies that other runs yield far greater amounts of gold on a regular basis, which to me is just crazy.

Did the complaints make the boost go away? Nope.
Did the complaints convince a majority of players that the boost is bad? Nope.

you’re acting like fan outrage has never made blizzard change their minds on something ever in the history of gaming, which is ironic and funny because wow classic is a direct result of fan outrage resulting in blizzard doing just that, whereas at first they had completely refuted the idea.
pack it up and stop being intellectually dishonest.

Thing is, if someone has little time to play then why complain about wow being a time sink and demand that the game changes for him
I never understood that

You wanted them to make countless videos, about the same issue?
I am strongly against any content skipping. But I wouldn’t watch videos with same subject.
Just read the comments on youtube. And count pro and against boost. IF what we discuss, is how many people are against boost.

The problem for us (the romantics), is that we have to play with those, that don’t really care about content. I wish there was a way, to keep them away.

Dont really think its about having time and more about that they feel its a waste of time and not fun.

And why should the entire game change because of them complaining

If you dont want to waste your time dont play an mmo

Sounds really entitled. Pvpers have to play with pve players and so on. Why should people who enjoy leveling be excluded.

Cause blizzard want people to play their game?

Why entitled? I speak for me, and people with same mentality.
I want to play with those, who enjoy the whole game. Lore, leveling (by questing), wPvP, BGs, raids. A living world.
I am a fan of wPvP. It’s what I begin to play WoW for. Didn’t even raid (MC max) in Vanilla. But I didn’t ask raiding to be skipped, so I can obtain the best gear, without high end PvE (rank 14 is not an option).

About entitlement generally. You have two groups. One loves everything in a game, and the other a (small?) part of it. If any group is entitled, which one is it?

Actually in this case your 2 groups are incorrect, and the group wishing to be separate from others and only play with likeminded people are entitled.

I can’t figure out, why that would be the case.
Everything we do in life, is better with likeminded people.
And I only mentioned two groups. You could say that about two MMOs. I play an MMO, with people that like cartoony graphics, open world, wPvP, Orcs and Undead etc. We enjoy the same kind of game.
Also, it’s not we that want to change WoW, to our likings. It’s the other group.
