Something must be broken beyond belief, the Lock did more DPS than all of the rest of us combined and did two times as much damage as the rest of us.
All of us were Naxx geared.

Dude, it’s just seed of corruption doing tons of damage on aoe pack, it’s always been like that in TBC, it’s not broken or anything. You either forgot how it was back then, or you didn’t play at the time. Locks are kings of aoe, no one comes close in tbc.
They’re also kings in single target tbh, but hunters are slightly better than locks against solo target encounters: BM is just that good.
There’s a reason why everyone rolled either a lock or a hunter for tbc.

Sounds about right. 4-5 k dps on aoe trash packs.
Turns out naxx geared memes (warrior, rogues etc you name it) are still memes 
(No offence, i used to play a meme in Classic as well. More power to you for picking the underdogs ^^ ).

No, that was “general average” DPS at the end of SL.
Trash packs DPS for the warlock would have been double that, so 6552 DPS to be exact.
Imagine what’s gonna happen when they get geared, now they play with level 60 T3.
t3 to t4 is barely any step up

Sadly dev team had no clue about balance back then and we got a TBC recreation so … you will never beat warlocks or hunters sadly.

Dungeons: Seed of Corruption.
Raids: Shadowbolt.

Yea. There’s also soulshatter when you pull aggro with seed.
I love to heal groups where there is warlock + mage combo. Warlock seeds and mage blizzards to slow everything down and nobody takes dmg while packs die quicky.
Warlock is just OP
