I don’t think ‘‘RPmode’’ would have that large interest from the non-RP realms plus I think the better solution is to merge all the RP realms instead so you can join guilds, access same auction house and so on.

By merging all realms I mean all english ones together, all germans together and so on. I don’t think merging the different languages will be beneficial for anyone due to language barrier some countries have.

Issue is that majority of RP’ers from other realms moved to AD so I suppose mainly OOC’ers remains.

Another benefit from merging the RP realms is the access to same name but on different server so less accented names!

Yeah if all the mini rp servers got merged into a single one instead of this weird “connections” I think a solid and big alternative to Argent Dawn would be born, and while RP mode would indeed kinda solve the OOCers problem, I guess it would have to be an option just for RP realms because I doubt the rest would even care.

Pvpers would care about Warmode and no one else would.

Pvers would care about… normal mode and no one else would.

I’ve suggested an RP-mode several times through the suggestion thingy in-game (that presumably sends everything straight to their spam folder). Would be nice to eliminate all NPCs from hostile locations, so that they don’t interfere. Would also be nice if you could sync the entire raid to the same phase.

Just eliminating the gameplay from the RP shard would do it. Make all enemies yellow and give no rewards

That means -everything- has to be disabled. Mobs, but also nodes, dungeon entrances, raid entrances, battlepets… else people will use it as a free farm shard rather than a roleplay shard. And mobs and dungeons are sometimes used in roleplay.

I am not sure how convenient this is.

I did say no rewards. You can pet battle, but no rewards. You can enter instances, but no XP or drops for you. You can mine nodes but you get nothing.

Good luck turning that into a free farm shard.
