Oh really? Using the forums as an example? A relatively tiny portion of the playerbase uses the forums, and a smaller percentage of that is complaining. In game, the state of the content is fine and I keep seeing players coming in.
‘Silent leavers’ are, until sub numbers are released, irrelevant to this discussion, because there is no way of counting them or even knowing if they exist.
And besides, you’re just going to assume that the general opinion is negative? I’d like to see your evidence, but I have a feeling it’ll be anecdotal at best.

The forums is just a single source of the picture, there are other sources as well. In-game chattering, various other message boards (like Reddit), Discord groups etc…

But the biggest source of them all is the financial report. And there is no denying it, WoW is losing money. The only time WoW is actually earning money, is when there’s a release of an expansion. You see, Blizzard has to make notes on the numbers and why they are as they are, and while the revenue is doing OK, the subsequent projects - like WoW and Overwatch - isn’t earning as much as it should, and that has to be noted in the financial report. Since ActivisionBlizzard is a public company, they have to give out this information. So while they’re not reporting the subscription numbers any more, it’s possible to gleam something out of their financial notes.

Well i am very happy ion is in charge and not game addicted pc gamers who waste their life. There is a reason you guys arent developers but mostly unemployed
