You are not talking to some casual who only owns store mounts i got things in this game that 99.9% of players will never achieve so don’t immersion @ me immersion @ that.
An unreal mog, you do realise all cross events would be in wows art style, in ff14 even other crossover events have models designed to fit the games aesthetic and even then it’s great.
Your immersion shouldn’t limit the game for other people. Wow is a live service and it should act like one. If you want a single-player wow game where there are no cash shop mounts Warcraft classic is there for you.
Well, there’s the difference between you and me.
Even other games where I LOVE some of the outfits; I wouldn’t want them in WoW.
Because they simply don’t fit in here and they break immersion for me.
WoW can have good/cool looking transmog sets within its lore/setting. But then again we get to the fact that what is good/cool looking differs from person to person. So even if we get transmog that looks cool to 90% of the playerbase, 10% will still be unsatisfied and disappointed with what they got. You can just never please everyone with a game like WoW that has a very diverse playerbase.
I dropped FF14 the moment I was enjoying the store and saw the FF15 car.
Like WTF a kinda of medieval game with a random H-Tech car.
Then you are close-minded because it fits in with ff14 lore, also FF14 is not a medieval game it’s only the continent of Eorzea which is behind on a lot of technology.
The real concern about this thread is why they need to go on the store? The crossover events in that japanese MMO is everything from a 5 minute quest to a 3 part raid 
Then go play classic game has changed there is no place for you close minded people here.

They dropped the game without realising there were multiple countries at different stages of technological development and more than one are almost up to modern standards of development with roads, lights and even heated pools. XD
I just gave an alternative that could be enjoyed more.
retail wow is changing and should you people or just stop playing it.

You don’t get to decide what I play. And fyi: I HATE classic.
The look of the models alone already trigger me; it looks so horrible.
But overal: I like the more ‘normal’ look. No over the top stuff.
Adventuring clothing or even just normal citizen type clothing.
I also like stuff with steampunk influences.
Your idea ruins immersion so it’s a bad idea. End of discussion.
