Well that’s not true, sometimes you can make a small mistake that is recoverable and you can make a big mistake that’s unrecoverable, when you play R1 players you don’t auto lose if you make a small mistake but you will be punished for it. But if you make a big mistake vs them someone dies shortly after you make that mistake. If you make big mistakes at lower ratings people don’t punish you for it… so you never really see how flawed your gameplay is until you vs highly skilled players who destroy you on those mistakes. Then people are so surprised that they just got deleted so easily because they are unconsciously incompetent and think they only make “small mistakes” in arena. Then they either take it as a wake up call and become consciously incompetent, realise how big the mistakes they make are and start learning from it to eventually become competent players or they start looking for other factors the blame and never face the fact that they make huge mistakes on a game by game basis.
This is what separates the players that will get better over time to become really good from the ones that will remain incompetent and stuck at lower ratings (you).
pretty cringe for a 2.4k fire mage after 1500 games, if you played on my account with my gear u would be hardstuck 1.5k, i dont think you seem to realise youre completely abusing the game with your class/gear/comp (probably rmp considering ur defending shadenox on every threads) and somehow you’re still slacking at a garbage rating, you’re not good at this game at all.
hate to break it to you but I hit 2200cr on my alt with 467ilvl gear earlier on in the season, so I had your gear. I started playing Mage half way through S2 I spam played 4k games in S3 to reach 2250 on Frost, now I’ve been playing a lot this season to break 2400 and managed to even break 2500. Point is, I learn from my mistakes, you don’t. You’ve never even broken 2k in 3s, hence why I say you’re an unconscious incompetent that looks to blame everything else instead of facing the fact that you have very little skill in arenas currently… only you can change it but judging by your attitude you’re a toxic mess that rages at every loss.
cool story i care a lot, what did you learn as mage? how to spam pyros and greater sheep ?
i played rsham 10 days last season for first time with 435 ilvl when everyone was 450 and got 2200, you don’t seem to realize how broken the game is in s4 for rshams against gushing, specially with 24% base versa, its fine, what do you even know about wow?
also ilvl doesnt even matter for mage, you can be 460 or 480 you still will one shot anyone with combustion, thats why i said on my account, nobody cares you broke 2.5k as mage you can literally backpedal and facetank anything during 10 min you will still be able to comeback with one good combo, you don’t even realize how easy the game is for you its pathetic, also stop thinking pushing rating on bfa makes you a better player, go play wotlk and see how lowskilled and boosted by bfa you are, you’ll be surprised, cringeboy
In 2s, the easiest bracket in game. Funny that in S3 you could afk in ghost wolf because of pack spirit and let your DPS solo (Cdew did this on stream) so don’t try to act like you got super skills for doing that btw. Also don’t play Greater Pyro in RMX, so gear does actually matter quite a lot =), but you ofc knew that.
What I learnt from all those games was when to play offensive, when to play defensive, how to setup and cover my cc onto healers without the aid of the Rouge and my healer, how to juke casts properly, when I need to save my CS and what for, how to use positioning to pull enemy DPS into bad positions to force their healer in so I can poly him if he’s pillaring and doing a good job of avoiding my CC, how to position in general vs casters cleaves, melee cleaves and hybrid (melee caster) comps, when to recognise that I can’t land CC so I need to win on mana, when to swap onto the off DPS or healer… there’s a few other things that I can mention but i’d need to give more detailed break downs on, but I learn ALOT of things, some of these things are by no means perfect and will be improved over time.
it was season 2 and got nerfed instantly but k
meanwhile in s4 mage rogue can still play like garbage and one shot anyone in a go
and idc what u learnt, mage rogue in bfa = u start at 3k, as i said you can literally afk whole game as long as you do one good go you won, u guys are pathetic to even talk about skills when youre playing the game on easy mode
Yeah, there is… because I’d play it for a couple of weeks and then get bored, Mage is the first class that I want to stay with long term… but okay Ragestorm, if its that easy… please grab a Mage and show me how its done, 1929 exp to beat, go!
Once again Ragestorm… if its that easy, get a Mage and prove it to me. You have such elite skills at the game with your 1929 Shaman exp you will insta jump to my current experience. Go do it! show me the way master!
just to polish this off… I know people that have watched me play at 2400+ and said “Mage looks easy” they reroll it, gear it and struggle to play it at 1700 because its a very punishing class. Notice I say class not spec there plebstorm?, its extremely easy to DPS as Fire, but the roll a Mage has in RMX is not an easy one regardless of what l33t Dota clowns like you believe.
As I say… get a Mage and prove it, you’re quick enough to mouth off how easy it is. Make a Mage, play RMP past my exp in less games, then I will apologise and agree with you.
i already played mage in cataclysm when it was 10 times harder than now, and it still was noskill, i don’t care if you agree with me or not you’ll realize by yourself how easy the game is for you if they somehow fix pvp
Jesus christ, just stop bickering about this “who’s the worst player” nonsense and agree on the following:
A) PvP Boosters are scum and ruin the game
B) Facing players far above your own skill level once in a blue moon has only very limited benefits when it comes to improving (yes, one can argue exactly how limited).
Yet your highest exp is still 1929? hmmm sounds like a you problem not a class problem =), also you are saying about getting this exp in BFA means nothing etc… I’d like to point out that you got your 2200 in 2s in 2020 (BFA) and your laughable 1929 3s exp in 2020… , and you only got those ratings because BFA is ez mode right? so that must mean you’re much worse than you appear according to your assumptions on how “skilled” a BFA player is? hahahah
I’d say this is checkmate Ragestorm. Have fun you unconsciously incompetent lad.
You’re fine as long as you don’t hard int in heroic for the most part though, throughput basically doesn’t matter, and I think most people are capable of pulling that off, even if they got boosted.
And a lot of groups (at least the decent ones) will look at your logs to make sure you didn’t get boosted though.
I think boosting in pvp is much more harmful though, it’s super disheartening to play vs a team you cannot possibly beat, because 2 of their players are 600 rating lower than they should be.
Just because something is good doesn’t mean it’s easy. Using dota as an example because it’s a game I’ve played a lot and it has easily accessible stats, Chen is a hero that currently sits at 45% winrate (17th lowest) in the lowest skill bracket, while having a 53% winrate (7th highest) in the highest skill bracket.
The reason for this is that while the hero is very strong, it’s not at all easy to play well, and at lower levels of play it’s easy to end up just feeding, and I’d argue that mage is pretty similar in that they are very strong in the hands of a good player (probably too strong), but probably have a higher barrier of entry than most other classes.
i started retail in bfa s2, theres something called private servers but its fine u missed the point
enjoy your “gameplay” aka doing nothing and spamming sheeps until you find a one shot combo, interesting class indeed
chen is a noskill hero, the reason it has a “low” winrate on lower brackets is people are bad at ending games and the hero is bad in late game, nothing else
